Thanks very much for that. Just read Tom's Harwarde review. Says it is a really good monitor for gaming, but for watching videos, the viewing angle isn't very good. When it says that (I dunno if you have had the chance to try it out yet) Is that suppose to mean that when you are on say a 45 degree angle to monitor, you can't see the screen? I would be the only 1 watching videos, so could just rotate the screen as you say is possible... so watching videos should be fine then shouldn't it?

Awesome! I am currently looking for all the parts for my new beast of a PC, and this monitor captured my eyes! It looks awesome! and @ 8ms responce, and some other good features it looks like a definate buy for me! 1 question mate, it says on the Hyundai web site that the minotor comes with inbuilt speakers... Is this true? if so, where abouts are the speakers? Because me and some others, in all the pics we have seen, cannot see the blasted speakers! Got any pics yourself of what it looks like working?

My good mate bought that fone Chris from Malaysia [Motorola MPX220] Not going to come out in Australia unfortunatley! Looks like a very nice phone though. I have my Nokia 3200, MZ-NH1. That's about all I got unfortunatley All portable audio is just so expensive in Sydney... for me at least I would LOVE a laptop, but want a awesome desktop PC first A 02 XDA would also be very nice... all these wants... Oh, and when I get my P's in a month (means I can drive by myself... without a fully liscenced driver) I will have a Mazda 626, 94 model I think it is.

I think what you are asking for is fair enough! There must be more than 1 blind customer of Sony, and really they should take your e-mail seriously, because it could not only boost their customer base if people knew about voice recognition, but they should also consider that they might lose customers because of this issue.

Can I just ask, what is the difference with recording on an MD, to a HDD Sony player? Is it just the bitrate is higher or what? Because I find it a little annoying having to swap disc... etc and a 20GB HDD player would be nice... but why is it sooo bad for recording?

Sounds good. But yeh I agree with veezhun. I doubt they will bring out firmware for the Hi-MD, coz if they do they will have to add mp3 support. Maybe they will, maybe they were just waiting for the release of the 2nd Gen, and good sales from then, and then to release firmware, so everyone thought no mp3 for 1st Gen Hi-MD, so they buy 2nd Gen, and now sales have plateued out... they release firmware?

Correct me if I am wrong, but is the iPOD not mentioned there? Is that because none had heard of it? Or is it called the HDD Player? The results are quite promising for Sony. The main HQ for Sony though is in Japan isn't it? Where as their main competitor iPOD is based in the US yeh? I think that is this survey was taken in the US, maybe the iPOD would have won, but still good news for Sony in Japan.

Don't know if it is just my net connection/machine, but MDCF has been down all thismorning, for about 4-5 hrs, and was down a couple of times yesterday for me. Same goes for ATRAC Life

Thanks for the update Chris! Understand the new web site a lot better now! So, MDCF is for everything Minidisc related, including Minidiscs, Recordings, Headphones... yeh?
