Yes. As far as I know, you can definitely utilize SonicStage with a Sharp NetMD unit. In addition, you may want to install Sharp’s NetMD drivers that came along with its CDROM.

I finally got to watch "The Incredibles" over the weekend. It was just brilliant!

Encoding of ATRAC3plus does not appear to be significantly faster than version 3.0. As for Mp3, it is relatively fast - about the same as most standard Mp3 encoder.

I definitely hope faster encoding implies better encoding.

Yes, it is Sony's NW series HDD based Mp3/ATRAC player. The NW-HD5 unit also sport a G-protection that shields/protects the HDD.

This is an article about Sony's new electronics chief and the right-hand man of newly appointed chief executive Howard Stringer - Mr. Chubachi will be responsible for fixing Sony's biggest problem: profitability at the struggling electronics business. (Note to Mods: Could you please move this to the news section of the forum since the article is not specifically for HiMD. Thanks.) Here's some excerpts from the interview:

That's correct. I have a MS Pro Duo 1GB stick and it cannot be used for ATRAC3 and ATRAC3plus playback on the PSP. However, playback of Mp3 files are just fine.

As bland had pointed out, the best deal would come from eBay. However, if you can't find them and need these parts immediately, you can always order the parts direct from Sony DAPC. The following parts you have requested: Part # 147751331 BCA-WM21U USB CRADLE - $55.95 Part # 324699301 CASE, BATTERY - $6.49 Part # 147753911 AC-ES605K AC ADAPTOR - $43.95 * when you say cables; do you mean the power cord that connects the charger with the USB cradle or the USB cable?
