    NH1 vs NH900

welcome to MDCF.. this question has been repeated many times over.. please use the search feature.. cheeers
  2. marc, i tried the net md upload. while you can control the net md using USB, the record involves the same input into line in of the sound card.. please correct if i am doing something wrong
  3. please post according to the rules...
  4. the rh10 is probably the best recorder... OLED is very good to monitor levels WITHOUT the need for a remote... Also, the battery life is improved over the Nh900.. cheers
  5. this is way too cool.. easier on the eye and looks very nice. chris, if you get rid of the happy halloween after halloween, this is a nice skin to keep on... cheeers
  6. did you edit your recordings on the Hi MD BEFORE the upload?? this will cause issues with sonicstage.. please tell us what your steps were welcome to MDCF
  7. if you are using windows xp, you can unzip files without the need for any external program. just double click on the .zip file, extract and install cheers
  8. simple burner 2 is very much present in the downloads section. its a zip file that is opened by winzip.. extract and install.. how did you manage to download winzip from the downloads section?? screenshots would be tremendously educational... cheers
  9. i have the US version and the adapter works fine. just use a step down ie. from 220 to 110...i charge the Ni MH battery with no hasssle... dont forget the step down though cheers
  10. i-WashyourBum the title says it all.. apple comes and cleans for you
  11. i wanted to know if you can charge the NH1 without the huge charging stand... ie with the battery pack attachment and an ac adaptor like the n10
  12. are you serious? i have some questions: 1. Does the AA attachment work for sure? 2. Does the nh1 charge with the external battery case? cheers
  13. sony all the way.. very decent buds for the price... again, this is between a mx550 and ex81... there are tons of other options too.. cheers
  14. hahahahahhahahaahaha....... lmao... a440, that is the best review of the earlier versions of sonicstage ever.... i bow to thee..
  15. how finicky are you about your recording?? if that is not of primary imprtance, i suggest the iaudio x5l. 20/30gb. in built mic for recording sounds.. USB on the go so that you can connect cameras and transfer photos to the device directly. another alternative is the iriver 320/340 ( Non US model). this also has USB on the go, in built mic, i think you can also attach an external mic to record... do explore all options before finalizing cheerrs
  16. are your batteries charged fully before you record? the nh1 has no additonal battery pack... also, recording in HI MD mode requires a lot of power.. so it could be a battery issue.. the nh1 from various reviews everywhere seems to be an excellent recorder..
  17. http://games.slashdot.org/games/05/10/07/2...&tid=188&tid=10 Very nice discussion here. I cracked up when i read this line "" Apparently, Gates yelled at Sony's CEO because the new copy protection Blu-ray has adopted would prevent players from streaming content to the Xbox 360. "". Funny and interesting

  24. lame mp3, flac, ogg, wavpack, monkeys audio, shorten etc. are really good codecs. except for monkeys audio, i have audio in all the above formats along with atrac of course. lame mp3's encoded at good bitrates are very nice.. flac is lossless, ogg is open source and the quality at lower bit rates is known to be better than even mp3, monkeys and shorten both are lossless again. shorten is very popular with grateful dead fans. as far as atrac going completely, as long as i have my sonicstage offline installer from MDCF, i will always have atrac
