Puttin on the Ritz by Taco;; not Bell but hell,, swell enough.. wanna remix this so i'm (Puttin it on my Bits;; MD that is if it fits.. then edit and fed-it..

i only have that one songs (The Story),, i captured off the music station,, digitally.. but,, if i find the CD on sale;; i will buy it.. Bjork's Greatest sounds interesting;; and Rick James is definately a keeper.. right now i a listening to an extended remix i am making of "Puttin on the Ritz" by TACO.. i can't seem to find the other version of that that i had made.. that song was alway interesting and "FUN" to play on da keyboards..

my second wife said to me once :: "Ray,, SIZE doesn't matter to me".. as is the case of bringing in a DVD portable player to the coffee shoppe or any other place;; it's BIG;; but very noticable and of course i love to flaunt myself anyplace using props.. wether it's a DVD player or TWO MD players/recorders at the same time (just for show);; i LOVE having the ODD thing in the group and DEBATING to the death how it's greater that what they have;; especially i-Pods.. i think of my MD units the same way as my neighbor thinks of his fweakin OLD cars;; i wish i could sneak into his garage and scratch them.. has anyone seen that stupid NEW itsy bitsy i-pod that can be mistaken for a stale craker..?? oh;; back OT:: i got a kink in my neck today when i heard an efx sound in my Grease recording from the movie Grease in my MD;; and thought it was a car coming at me;; it was sooo realistic in my earbuds that i jerked;; turned;; and hurt my neck.. should i sue Sony for their MD sounding sooo Realistic?? love thaat MD..

isn't it great to find a great deal like that;; like things "Stupid" ppl screw up and it's so east to fix.. yard sales are good;; they think they are screwing you;; when you are screwing them;; i got some great electronics and speakers from ppl that thought they were screwing me.. of course,, i would NEVER screw anyone;; unless they look screwable.. sometimes instead of buying something;; i just go in da cellar and dig into the piles;; and discorver things i forgot i had;; then pretend i bought it in my mind.. tomorrow;; is a FREE DAY;; i will go out and spend money of anything that will "Fit" into my studio;; which is almost impossible.. i have my eye on my 23RD DVD recorder;; it's a VCR/DVD combination for $249 USD on sale at Sears..

transferring the audio of the American Idol Finals to MD-Deck #27 for to edit and make a "nice-nice";; unbelievably;; the show was GREAT;; i must give them credit;; less of Simon and more of Doug E Fresh!! yes;; BLake and Doug E Fresh did a DUELING Beat-Box JAM!!!! it was the greatest think i have heard since my last "X" said she didn't want any alimony.. all the "clicks" in da music was the fweakin sound guys CLICKING their fweakin clickers with all their compressions,, limiters;; and spliters;; and i thought the voices were a little lost in the instruments;; but then it cudda been my 32 band EQ reset by the two fweaking housecats..

i used to be like u,, i would buy anything and everything ;; every day;; all the time.. then after two divorces and a third wife;; they put the plug to me.. now all i do is sneak an occational 100 blank DVD-R's and say i need it for a rainy-day.. oh,, i just bought another 100 TDK DVD-R blanks;; just for a rainy day..

i didn't read the article;; and won't;; i am all set for the rest of my life with MD'ism.. if there is anything worth note-ing about the article;; just write it.. i will anxiously be awaiting the "word" as i polish my 27 minidisk units (and 22 DVD recorders)..

some Melee songs (7 of them)i got off myspace for one of my granddaughters (18 yrs old).. band from Cali;; not bad;; put on CD-R so she can put it on her fweaking i-pod.. i got it on my Hi-MD900 now in Aflex-Duck_bit.. anyone know this band??

listening to the rayzray remix of Grease Movie (1) (songs only) on my Hi-MD900#1.. (in AFLEX Duck Smuck Quality).. yes;; i was up all night doing this;; first to copy the WHOLE Movie onto a DVD-R,, then,, copy ONLY the songs (A/V) onto another DVD-R (in the order performed),, THEN,, just the FAST songs,, (A/V),, onto the end of the same DVD (for us swingers that just like fast songs).. THEN;; take just THAT audio and put it on an MD to edit at bit;; and then coping that to a CD-R;; then,, transfer that audio to my two Hi-MD900's WHILE correcting all my typos);; AND making copies for my piano students and family and my "X".. (( i call the project:: "Grease - Re-Greased"..))

i used to LOVE my Vox Organ!! listening to "Tnks Fr Th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy;; the Monkey Version off the video..

listening to a rough edit of my remix or Rush's Snakes & Arrows (on a standard MD);; where,, i (rayzray) takes out ALL the vocals of the whole CD and leaves just the intrumentals;; intros;; turnarounds;; licks and bits;; even a one measure lick is fine for me;; i can loop it into an 8 measure diddy;; not "P" but me.. it sounds good so far;; just needs to be re-adjusted and re-aligned;; possibly re-fixed and re-twixed.. i probably can make a drum solo in there somewheres;; and extend that loney treble-pick-a-dilly bass riff which seems rare hare;; bare with me;; i'll let you know if i can get this better than this.. [Quick update} going EXTREMELY well;; i can listen to this all day!!

i scored a BIG one;; i bought my wife 20 chocolate-chip cookies;; freshly baked,, with EXTRA chocolate chunks;; oh,, yes they are chocolate-chunk cookies;; i think Turkish;; but not sure.. this was for Mother's Day (tomorrow);; but i gave them to my wife early cause she needed a "Lift" and,, the cats were hanging around the closet door where i hid the cookies;; i know they would be relentless to get to that big box in there.. yes;; the cats LOVE chocolate-chunk cookies too!!

gee,, i forgot to rant about my trip;; well aside from my son-in-law who manages an Apple store in Orlando which was going through a renovation;; and banning me from talking about Apple and Sony;; the trip was fine.. a high-lite was seeing Cirque du Soleil (sp);; it was GREAT!! another hi-lite was meeting an MDCF / T-Board member (Tullfan) in person for a few hours (in Virginia);: that was really really great;; now,, Tullfan knows the ((Real Rayzray))!!

so,, one of my piano students (girl 23 yrs old) asks me to copy three belly-dancing VHS tapes to DVD;; soo i do;; then i even make Chapters;; then,, i just watch them for a while just to make sure i done it right;; LOL.. now,, i make an audio CD of the belly-daning songs;; there are NO names for the songs on the VHS Tape;; so i name them by numbers.. (Dance 1,, Solo 1 etc).. now,, they are in my Hi-MD900's;; i am ready to try MY belly-dance routines at da coffee shoppe.. and that's what i am listening to..

I GOT IT!! i was listening to the RUsh CD in my bedside Hi/MD900;; and was bored;; so,, i put it on a faster speed (EDIT:: 18% faster);; i "LIKE" it;; THAT's what was wrong with it;; it was toooo slow.. (EDIT:: i believe a HI-MD unit CANNOT do just 18% speed adjustment;; it has incraments).. so,, now i am listening to the CD play on my big azz Numark Axis9 DJ-CD-Deck;; and have the speed boosted up a bit.. now,, it is "Rockin";; like even my cats are switching rooms.. i am putting it on my "Zebra" Standard MD;; gonna edit it and zap it to a CD-R for archiving.. then wend it to my Hi-MD900's for to Party With at da coffee shoppe.. this is fweakin good;;"Meditation Medication' as they sing ;; or is it vice versa??

it is growing on me;; and i am forcing myself to like it cause of all of yous liking it.. i DO "BUY" all of Rush's cd's and DVD;; and i WILL buy their DVD of this when it comes out;; they ARE one of the greatest bands ;; they just like to "Toy" with us.. and Guitarfxr:: why didn't you record the F22;; it must sound different in that inclimate weather;; TullFan just saw them at an air-show in Va-USA and,, didn't one just "Crash" not too long ago at an air-show??

thanks Sony MD-Deck;; for making me a phat man!! i am listening to my (Girl Version) of Barry Gibb's "To love somebody",, sung by him on American Idol last night;; but of course,, i can't give my piano student (Girl) a "MAN"S" version with the words "I'm a Man....";; so i put it in my Sony MD Deck;; and sliced out the word "Man" and went to the same measure in the 1st verse and devided out the word "Way".. soooo, he sings "I'm a-way" which is much better for a girl to sing along with than the "I'm a Man" version.. just one of the things that makes Minidisk the BEST media for editing and make be the BEST "Phat Guru" around here (R.I. USA).. then,, i took Jordin's two songs and edited them TOGETHER in a seamless medley (To Love Somebody/Woman In Love) and impressed my wife;; i think i am gonna get desert tonight..!!

still trying to "Digest" Rush's NEW CD!! i am taking the word for it from my internet/member friend that it's great;; and rumors from other members that is is great;; i am hanging my personality for this and trying to get an open mind;; but refuse to LISTEN to the lyrics;; i cant figure out where all those harmonizing voices are coming from;; possibly from an old Roland Harmonizer MIDI'd to the keyboard/computer.. like the one i still have.. i am up to 4 songs i like;; 3 more and i concider the CD a success.. not a sucksess.. i am toying with the fact (as i listen to this);; with putting it digitally onto a standard MD and "Deviding" it to death and "programming it into a wonderful Rayzray Remix.. *how da hell u spell deviding & concider*.. what ever;; i CAN find time for Rush in my "Rushed" world..

mmmm,, well,, if you DO have TWO optical outputs;; i have an Optical SPLITTER that can split the optical signal;; i think i bought it at Radio Shack.. (just use it in reverse).. can't imagine WHY u would want to do this;; but there IS an optical splitter out there;; probably on e-bay since RS discontinued all Toslink thinggys (i think)..

just bought my ((22th)) Panasonic DVD-LS91 unit ($250.00 USD) on sale at Sears;; this one is a portable player.. and not a recorder.. so i can take the DVD-RAMS that i record on all my home and studio DVD recorders and play them at the coffe shoppe and write all the songs that are on a recorded DVD-Ram there,, and not at home.. this way;; i can do some work away from home and make my time away more efficient.. i can also watch recorded Cable/TV in the Van and SKIP da commercials;; yes,, it has a 1 min commercial skip button.. it also has dts and digital audio out;; and stuff like that that i care crap about.. but;; you never know when i will show up ap your house (EDIT::by invitation of course) and plug my unit in ur TV set up and "Rock & Roll".. if u can't DO it 110%;; then don't DO it at all..

seems that every CD i buy in a jewel case with White and Black printing with a Red background looks like 3-D;; like an optical illusion.. if you take the Back-Card out;; you can see that it's not.. do yous see this;; my wife can't.. gives me an idea for a project i wanna do..
