u are making me hungry for a stand alone multi-tracker;; i had a Roland (digital) one,, but it was UN-user-friendly;; sold it to a Laocian (sp) Karoke guy cheap.. i HATE my Sonar in my computer;; i HATE computers;; i hate mouses;; and i hate not touching and feeling real knobs and sliders??!! give me real bulk and plastic and aluminum anyday.. oh,, i did some back-up recording (keyboard) at a "Bluegrass" recording studio a while back;; but when they wanted me to "Read" the music parts and not "Feel" them;; i ran away back to my Big City.. (and,, everything was in the key of "E";; a nightmare for me on keyboards!!) Bluegrass always impressed me;; and how they got to fit an Italian mandolin into the scheme of things..

yes;; that's a TRUE MD Lover;; good job!! and,, what exactly constitutes a "Semi_Dead" unit?? 1.. a unit that turns on but won't totally work?? 2.. a unit that turns on and won't work at all.. 3.. a unit that WON"T turn on?? 4.. a unit with missing parts;: just had to throw that one in yes,, the cable guy;; furnace repair man;; and the "Maytag" washer and dryer repair guys are all AMAZED at my "Cellar".. let alone my Purple and Pink studio.. so,, i have taken on the task of putting a masking tape tag on every unit down there;; labeling them into various "States" and a FIVE STAR rating system to which one would get repaired first if i ever get the money just to repair these things.. then,, there are the 2 or 3 units that are "Taped" together;; like:: which two of three will sacrifice themselves to "Donate" their "Parts" (not kidneys) to save the third unit.. yes;; just bring 3 units to a repair guy and say;; take the parts out of two and save one.. then;; there is the task of storing these units "vertically" without them falling down;; this pleases my wife,, as it gains more floorspace for "Her blings" like laundry detergent;; polishing fluids;; 40 year old pots and pans;; and yes;; her 40 hear old humidifier that may or may not work.. her most useful "Bling" down there that i (rayzray) could use is her 48 year old hope chest that i am trying to get my hands on to store my 800 MD discs!!!! i thing it is Mahogany or something like that.. she has all these stupid rags in there..!!

yeah,, nice;; i've been looking at that one at the music stores;; instead of using my 10 channel Behringer (w/ 9V capability).. but,, then i don't record "out" too often anymore..

i am pissed because i had a "sucky" night last night recording off TV onto DVD AND MD!!!! i recorded the band "Yes" from VH1-Classic;; they sucked;; i couldn't even figure out what they were doing;; and i didn't hear too muck of Rick W.. and on the other TV;; i was watching "Fight Club" (Disc 2 supplemental) before watching the actual movie;; and THAT sucked.. the whole world lately sucks;; i have to resort to amusing myself with my MD re-mixes and DVD Rayzray extravaganzas.. (sp).. then,, i hear some "editing" mistakes i made because i rush too much;; and i (rayzray) suck sometimes..

why not just get a nice mixer for Hi-MD??

i (rayzray) DO have fast internet connection;; Digital high speed (medium) Cable;; or something like that.. i am always "Scared" to downlead ANYTHING;; and NEVER open attachments and delete MOST e-mails.. my piano students;; all young;; take care of my TWO pc's and have "administrator Strangle holds" on my PC's.. last year i had almost 700 possible viruses;; this year i have Zippo;; nada;; not uno;; not duo;; but rien-du-touts.. i am a fraidy cat;; when it comes to my PC;; although i also DO NOT connect one to the internet.. i "did" hear the first version;; i guess that fine;; i "Get the Point".. oh,, i have 14 grandchildren;; so,, i am always prepared for "Anything'' ;; i carry my Hi-MD900 with mics;; cables;; a camcorder;; a pole;; and a heleum "Happy Birthday" balloon that i can attach the mic too in adverse situations.. who is gonna say "NO" to a happy birthday person and HIS "Baloon.. well,, the cable running up the string is a dead givaway,, i guess.. now to build a "Gyro" into it to make it always point towards the stage.. yes;; a simple pole IS better..

so,, there is another version?? better than the mp-3 one i got??

i (rayzray) am really trying hard to follow this;; and how it would affect ME if i owned one.. this unit doesn't seem "User-Friendly" and seems to be a "Field Recorder".. am i right.. are we comparing apples and oranges?? why would this unit take the place of an RH1,, or any other MD to an average A/V enthusiast that just want to do great things with what i got.. i have the money to buy this;; but;; i can also buy 4 Murciam (sp) pipes instead.. (i don't smoke)..

an OLD person's "sex" drive has a better life span that MD units;; i would put my money on "old Ppl".. late edit]] oh,, and this week i FOUND a Sharp 702 portable unit that i didn't know i had;; so,, add one more unit to my 27;; i must go diggin more into MY pile of junk..

i never have been a lyric's guy;; i am ALL musician;; and chord progressions,, and harmony.. and,, i (rayzray) NEVER dwells in the past;; keeps me young.. i would rather "play' moon river on my keyboard and hook a Rap beat to it;; or some excentric beat.. what about M&M it;; like Moon River vs. Marylin Manson!!

BUT,, are these "User Friendly"!!??!!;; have you every tried to use one of these "Puppies" and a "friendly" way;; it may be impossible;; THese companies;; Korg,, Boss etc SUCK at user friendly units;; at least IMO.. i am freakin fed up with un-user-friendly units;; like when i go to the Guitar Certer;; they can't even demonstrate there fweakin units.. i "Bash" them..!!

donno;; like i check every thing out at the Music stores (Guitar Center etc) and all this stuff just doesn't tickle my bubble as much as the MD/Hi-MD phenominon ??(SP) did.. i just impress too many ppl here to wanna change to a (satellite) PC/USB "common" type thing.. these 4 channel portable things just FEEL like they are gonna fall apart in your hands;; and like a "Bull" that i am in a China shoppe;; i just don't wanna handle them.. late edit]] all this crap of these units with the USB cable just reminds me of a delicate new-born baby hanging from it's embiblical (sp) chord..!!

they were wonderful!! i was the jerk;; but,, then;; they married me as a musician and started immediately to try to CHANGE me;; even make me QUIT;; ALL women do that!!!! that pisses me off.. oh,, now both my "X's" are my best friends;; i have coffee with one every Saturday morning.. what really pisses me off is women should leave things alone;; i was making mucho money;; so what if all the girls were after me;; i was "Hot"..!!

here too;; we had NO snow all winter and now a fweakin 6 incher;; but i gots my electric snowblower and Hi-MD900 to plow da snow.. yes;; FEED da Squirrels!! they just sit out my back porch begging for nuts!! the ARE cute;; but then,, my first two wives were cute too.. i hate snow!!!!

can Audacity take out vocal tracks (middle)?? that would have to be a MUST for me (rayzray).. i try to avoid anything free;; thinking there is a "Catch" to it.. Hidden thinggys and unwanted spirits.. what about a store bought version;; is there one?? (like,, a tangible object;; nothing downloaded or up loaded;; or side loaded or exploded..)
