so far i only like Tracks 6 and Track ?? (The Way That Wind Blows).. i think they are "losing it" they should "hang it up";; if they can't do better than "This";; maybe they should start writing "comic books" or something;; maybe a TV comic series.. and i can't seem to find the "Drum solo'' ;; i always looked forward to the "drum Solos";; wtf;; soooo much talent in this group;; are they "getting old"??!!

i finally loaded it into my two Hi-MD900's and listened to it as i took my evening "nap";; i think i got about 5 songs in "consciencely" mmmm (sp);; i thought they were good ,, but not great;; that is;; not "Rush-like" or not Rushistically.. are they trying to go "Pop"?? or are they losing their "PoP'' STOP;; let me try it again;;STOP!! crop this a bit;; RUsh is Rush;; and we love them no matter how many Driers they need on a stage.. late next day edit]] ok,, so i found time in my long day of doing almost nothing to listen to the rest of the album;; i kinda like it from Track 6 on;; it's more Rushy;; plus i have the volume UP ^^^^ and my daydreaming DOWN vvvv.. who's harmonizing??

I HATE those ppl;; and especially ppl the DRIVE and pass you or cut infront of your from a side road;; only to slow down.. i wish i had a water pistol attached to my car with a string to the trigga;; and with India ink in it;; i would squirt them faster than a dog with it's leg up..

i am listening to silence;; even though i just bought Rush's new CD;; didn't open it yet;; won't open it yet until i am good and ready.. lol,, i could have been;; i had it all;; the talent;; the ability;; the "DREAM";; and i WAS famous you can say in my area.. i started with a 5 piece band;; then 4;; then 3;; then duo;; then about 20 years as THE one man band with all my fweakin synths.. ((42 years in all;; plus about 9 as a DJ inthere somewherezz)).. i turned down all the contracts;; i fought the "system" i F***ed the world;; and got away with it.. basically;; my FATHER helped me out as a musician before i started making REAL money;; got me everything;; then he got sick and i wouldn't leave the area;; or him.. the big money didn't mean anything;; all i did was make rich ppl richer and turned jerks into assholes;; including myself.. ask my two "X's" (who still love me);; and my present (sp) wife who adores me for my open-ness ??sp??!! if yous could do half the things i've done in my life;; youss would be on the road to happiness.. isn't happiness the biggest part of "Da Pie;; why;; shy guys fail;; wise-guys prevail.. *and i NEVER did drugs+ this is really "me" rayzray.. i cudda been famous;; could write songs;; could play;; was a great asshole;; everyone says i should write a book about myself.. listening to Rayzray concerts i have been archiving from VHS to DVD and editing;; it's hard to do this;; there's sooooo freakin much i've been through;; i was sooooo freakin awesome;; what went wrong??!! putting some audio on MD..

you got it a little backwards;; i have 21 DVD-Recorders;; and they record music onto 55 DVD/Ram disks;; which i rotate.. and 150 Standard MD discs with 27 MD usits.. too.. i usually record from 4 DVD recorders and one time;; the rest are for editing and watching all around da house.. i don't concider myself excessive;; IF you concider i collect music on these just about the same as an i-poder crams 10.000+ inferior songs onto their PC's and i-prods.. i cram music onto my DVD-RAM pickup discs and dilegintly and painfully edit EACH songs into a crafted piece of audio bliss before i put them onto CD-R's and MD'zz.. i am probably the only member here that really uses MD's as thery were intended to;; that is;; record,, edit,, save,, and re-locate.. if it wasn't for that,, i would not be on this forum;; i would be at the coffee shoppe agrivating all the customers with my edits/re-mixes.. please concider me as extra baggage..

well,, i bought ANOTHER 5 Panasonic DVD-RAMs;; that brings me up to about 55 RAMS.. i usually record 3 hours of TV/Cable Music on them.. that's 165 hours of music waithing to be transferred to my CD_R's and Hi-MD's.. it's a lucious world.. oh,, i also have my 150 standard MD to do that too;; but DVD-RAMS are funner.. (with my 21 Panasonic DVD Recorders..

???? i'm in da dark;; just don't get all the "breves";; since i gave it up in 1964 as a Radioman in da US-Navy in Morocco.. youzz gotta speak English to me..

no,, i don't have THAT disease;; i meant the Digital/Analogue code to let us know HOW the CD was recorded;;mastered and whatever.. first D means it was recorded digitally as the artist was performing.. "A" would have meant using OLD analogue tape machines.. 2nd "D" means it was edited/mastered digitally (i think);; "A" wudda meant on analogue equiptment.. 3rd "D" means;; ???? i think it was "Pressed" digitally;; but not sure.. maybe someone cas explain better;; but absolutly i hav no disease..

i thought you had to "combine" two tracks at a time;; i didn't know you could combine ALL the tracks at one shot.. i have done this combining for about 80+ tracks a few times and it's not fun.. you could NEVER get the real time-line by doing this IMO.. as an added note;; i think i wanna sell ALL my A/V stuff i have been buying;; i don't want to go through all this or;; i will continue to do everything un-ortrodoxidly.. i like this thread..

used to have one of them (gee i used to have a lot of things).. used it a lot;; and with no DBX on.. are you sure they use CR/II XL tapes and not normal bias tapes;; maybe i am getting my machines mixed;; but yes;; made some great mixes on them (live).. i have a few hundred COII XL blank tapes left;; not that i wanna sell them;; they just look good on my shelves in da cellar;; i like to impress the furnace repairman and the Cable Guys.. the CO-II 60 min tapes were my favorite cause they were thicker than to 90's..

u make a good point for independent musicians;; kinda like Sony denying us from recording on MD'zz and uploading with older units;; like,, the world just kills itself..
