  2. It is 2009 ...... and I have had to take stock of things in my life ( Health and other issues ) and I wont be Salvaging MD's for the board anymore . Neither the means or the time I have enjoyed the boards , but , I have just too much stuff to do , not enough time to do it , and as I stated on the Salvage post " The scene of the world is changing " and so must I Goodbye to the MDCF , have a great 2009 ........ I hope . Thx for the friends I made here some of you I even got to meet . Bob T ,we will stay in touch by email . TC
  3. BBB complaint filed ....... 5 minutes ago . They even had Gigasonics name in the database , so I am not the first to have problems with them

I was standing in the front yard of my mom's house in Sunset TX , with a Pair of 50 mm Vixen High powered Binocs , I could make out details of the ship as it entered the atmosphere , and as it started to come across the sky towards Texas , the details grew sharper and sharper , then I noticed something wrong , pieces were coming off , and trailing behind the ship . I watched it come apart easily making out the wings , and tail section , and I knew I was watching those 7 people die . It was indeed a tragedy , and a sad day , for the Families of those astronauts , My heart goes out to them . Did any of you directly see it as well ( not the TV watchers ,..... ) How many of you were outside watching the reentry ?
  5. I have confirmed with the San Jose Police dept , that they handle fraud cases . It even states it on their website . Gigasonic still has not returned my money , even after the last email in which I clearly stated I wanted my money and NOT the mic . I think they need to be shut down . If I dont have my money in the next 24 hours , I begin the filing procedures with the BBB , and San Jose city , they have online forms as well as Telephone Direct service . I was in the middle of several different things one of which is highly stressful , I had a visitor , who was also interested in the same Mic based on my recommendations , also I have a 5,000 dollar Archtop Guitar on my workbench that the finger board basically exploded on it , and I am repairing , it . Fine detail stuff , I had absolutely no time or allowance for extra stress , and these Yahoos decide to just simply LOSE my order . I am about halfway thru the fingerboard repair, and am Mixing and shooting a 2 part catylized Polyurethane , thru a fine detail Airbrush ( Something you are NOT supposed to do , because this stuff can harden in your brush while your spraying ) this = STRESS Timing off , Bad job , Mix off , Bad Job , anything off Bad Job , .......... and the customer is waiting for his guitar ......... Pressure I just want my money back .

  7. You should see what ends up in the Japanese Garbage ,....... unbelievable at times . Only people are to reserved to take it from the Garbage , that will soon change though I think. "The Times , they are a changin " indeed they are
  8. Got another email this morning " We Found your order ...... what do you want us to do ." 11 days past accepting my money ,. they .... " Find " my order Is this the kind of company you want to do business with ???? I asked for my Money back AGAIN ,...... and they still dont get it ????????????

Well , as you say " After the disciples were dead " in 1611 or so the King James version was produced , but it had been done so under the Command of James , who was looking for a way to control the populace . If you look in the Intro of the KJ it says , " To our most High and Mighty Prince ... James " pretty lofty title for a man But when Examining the KJ in relation to original texts , there are ..... (Ouch ) almost 20,000 translation errors in the KJ version and some of those errors have a direct effect on the meaning of things . so this is a Very long discussion , in the making ..... again I would ask , via email , or messenger , Skype whatever , PM me , and we can have that discussion.
  10. problem is , that is a Mono mic with a Mono plug , you will need an adapter to go from mono to stereo ( dual mono in this case ) look closely at the Plug of the Mic , it only has Tip / Sleeve , = mono ...... Tip/Ring/Sleeve or 3 connector plug is what you need for MD
  11. I think Format is the only option . Erase , is just header files getting removed . Format actually cleans the disc . here is the manual if you dont have it http://minidisc.org/manuals/sony/sony_mzn510_manual.pdf This unit is factory set to just record over existing material . So if you put one of these discs in , and just hit record , it should record over the Protected tracks as well .in effect erasing them as you record the new material . Otherwise from within SS you can select a Format Disc option

Macbook Pro has Optical in AND out ....... the 1/8 connectors on the left side , are white ... use a Toslink Cable to go from that out , to the MD I do it all the time . one caveat thought , is the Digital out on the Macbook is constant , meaning you wont get track marks . it will come out as one big file . For Auto track marking use the Analogue cable ( Same output ) but go analogue to the MD , and in the Silent parts it will put track marks

Ok , 10 full days past the order , Negative responses , and what responses I did get indicate they havent even sent the Package , and they are refusing to Refund my Money , "I Will Look into your order and find out what happened , Thanks for your patience" , was the statement I got , when I said , "Dont send the product just give me my money back " I have openly 3 time so far just asked them to return the money , They have admitted that it was not shipped , and are now trying to force me to accept delivery so they can say the did their job . I paid for World Wide , Expedited 3-5 day delivery , on the Morning of DEC 20 in Japan , that means Late friday California .They accepted payment . At the lates it should have gone out that Monday the 22 , and with 3 day delivery it would have been here on the 25 th or 26 th . They have made no effort whatsover to correct this situation , Do not do business with this Company . I have also sent numerous messages thru Paypal itself , a dispute is open , and demand for resolution in process . emails....... You emailed us on Christmas eve, and then during the day after Christmas. Please understand that these are holidays and we are not in the office during these hours. The replies they are giving .... are avoiding the request to just return the money and stall for time . When a Payment is accepted , an Agreement is then made ....... and the terms of that agreement are to be met . I paid EXTRA MONEY , to Get this Shipped in a Hurry to me before the year end out ..... Last purchase of 2008 . something JUST for me . Any of you on this board who have dealt with me , you know this is not how I treat others ....... I have been extra careful to package and ship your guys stuff with great care , and expedience . No Matter WHAT day is was ..... This is theft ... out and out .... I want my money back

  21. End of the Day , still no email , No tracking number , no delivery , no contact .

World wide Expedited , means 7/365/24 there are no breaks , and the trucks run on Sunday as well as Christmas day itself even , I worked for a delivery service many years ago . and we ran all night long . All Day long , switching shifts 7 days a week . that package should have been here in 3 days max , especially from California San Jose , has its own airport for freight and services . It should have been in the air in less than 6 hours from time of delivery , and it Japan 14 hours later , thru customs , and into the Japan Postal services ( which are same day delivery) You can send a Package here from Kyushu southern most part of Japan , and it be in Hokkaido the same day delivered to your door by the REGULAR postal system if you buy the right tags The EMS service that I use to send to you guys from my Garage sale is EXTRA and Guaranteed delivery , and yet costs less than the Expedited service I paid for . I appreciate your thought , but there is the reality ........ they screwed up and arent coming clean By the way , they are less than 1/4 of a mile from the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport ...... They could hit it with a slingshot from the store front
