  1. well dialing the international number just gets a busy signal ...... nothing
  2. http://www.gigasonic.com/ I ordered a Pro70 , lavier mic from them because I was able to use Paypal . It took them less than 10 minutes to process and accept payment . Payment completed Order was 3-5 Worldwide expedited delivery , insured , ( that means get it there yesterday ) it is now 7 days . Still no package ...... also during the Process I have sent 4 emails so far asking for Tracking info , or ANY proof of delivery , so as to ease the impression I am getting of them . Not one response so far , no communication whatsoever , except the notice of receiving my money . Theft by default is a crime , and it is punishable by law . This was my first time to deal with Gigasonic . I will be notifying the BBB , via their website quite soon , and have already reported to Paypal . No Response to ANY communication from them . this is the quote from their website. Immediate Shipment You deserve immediate accurate shipment - and Gigasonic delivers. Did you ever understand why, when you offer to purchase something, some companies don't ship your order to you that same day? We didn't! You deserve your order immediately - so we built a state-of-the-art technology and distribution center that's standing by to ship your order today. and Personalized Service from Musicians At Gigasonic you get personalized service from musicians - by toll-free call, email, or live chat. We pay these musicians to work for you: to give you honest product advice and assist you should any problem arise with your order. They are NOT paid commission. These musicians will understand your lifelong dream of owning a Gibson Guitar, and they'll only ask you for an item number so they can help you faster - not because they've never heard of a Marshall Stack or a Digi 002. They know how to help you because they share your dreams.
  3. Bob , that is makeable ....... I think . Have to find one of the OLD big clunky iPods , dig out the guts , get the right size MD recorder . ( Maybe even taking the case off and putting the guts into the iPod case ???) and cut the edge of the iPod case so a disc can slide thru , into the mechanism . Hmmmmm sounds like a forum challange eh ! Make Magazine worthy I say .
  4. I have about 14 more units that I havent posted yet , because I am still checking them ( I check them that thoroughly ) Any comments need to be made by PM ,not here . To those of you who bought from me , Thank you . and If I can help in any way , please email me , do not PM me from here. I appreciate what comments have been left about me in the Feedback forums , and hope the MD's you got live up to your needs . I did all I could . TC
  5. Do you know the song by Queen " Radio Ga Ga " and another line " Radio , someone still loves you " as the Digital age was entering , and Copyright management was taking over , the reason FM sounded so fat , was LP's , and the transmission equipment, of that time . Some of the MOST passionate songs on the radio , are ....... ABOUT Radio . There was a Reason . Wizard , just got his Mark4 turntable I had to search hi and low for ........ end result , when he got it put together from the packing crate , he stayed up all night spinning vinyl ....... There is a warmth , there is a Character , and tangibleness , of Analogue audio , especially on good hi end gear . I love the smell and feel of warm tubes , on a good Class A/B twin triode amp , with EL34's on the back end , and the clarity , and detail , that makes you feel like you are in the room with the musicians . doesnt have to be a lot of power , just pure and clean . If you ever come to Japan , I will take you where you can experience it in full measure.
  6. I have a set of CX-300 's that I am not using anymore , they are in good shape ,cleaned , ready for new ears I just got a set of AKG phones , so I wont use these anymore . 2000 yen +shipping by Snailmail ( Small packet Japan Post ) to small to send by EMS the CX 400 is the same element only the cable accessorie is different I believe , might be wrong , but I think they are the same My CX300's are most definitely the real ones .
  7. YOU FINALLY GOT IT >>>>>>> YAYAYYYYYYYYYYY I am so happy .
  8. They are finally Home .........YAY some little good things have happened . Neutral.............. I am having to reevaluate that term , In a quieter setting where I dont have the Background noise of the store , I hear a LOT more detail , than I was getting from the Yamaha's I normally use . These are much more efficient requiring less power , only 16 ohms . Older discs , I can hear very sublte parts than I did not hear before , much more of what was going on behind the mixing board as the songs were recorded. a very good Balance , from high to Low , ohhhh but the Lows ...... you FEEL them , for small phones these really reach down there , but not in an artificially enhanced way , Pianos , sound like your sitting at the bench next to the player . Separation is nice the sound field gives definate placement of everything I had forgotten that I had a lot of points on my Yodobashi card ( they use a Point system here ) and the points cut my cost WAY down , so a Little extra money , and I was able to get them . as good as they sound now , I cant wait till they burn in .
  9. sounds like Silly's english is quite good to me . better grammar and spelling than most english speakers !!
  10. updated ,( read first post ) ..........I am really surprised noone has jumped on the EH70 yet , It is NOT a USED unit , Brand New ,Unused NIB last of the HiMD players , HD Amp , I have one myself , they sound pretty good , and use the standard Gumstick instead of the 4w that is in the RH1 .
  11. that is one way to do it Mic Placement is one of the Biggest keys to good sound , Quality of preamp , and Mic is the #1 spot but Placement determines the Majority of what you are going to get . Sanyo has realized this and recently released something just for that purpose , I have not heard them yet , but plan on buying these when I can afford it . http://www.sanyo-audio.com/icr/common/accesory_hmw300.html use Babelfish to translate it . http://www.amazon.co.jp/三洋...;/dp/B000VK8IEO http://www.outletplaza.co.jp/goods/43921/

  16. Vivaldi's Flute and Cello Concertos ( Not the Four Season thing everyone thinks is the entire Vivaldi collection ) Also , a friend o mine ..... Paul Galbraith an amazing guitarist , Plays an 8 string guitar , and his Lute music CD is really good. Classical music is a Vast territory , that has way to many opinions in it as to what is "Good" , the 14 th century all the way to our time , Is a lot of composers to go thru . Starting with an "EASY Like " something that is easy to like ......... is the best way to start . after that tastes develop and you may be surprised at what actually draws you . I like Renaissance , and Baroque , but for some it is repetitive because there arent as many Key changes ...... but time rhythmically it is complex at times . Modern instruments are capable of a WIDE range of Keys ( ie Key of D , Key of C# , Key of .....etc you get the idea) so the tonality of modern music becomes more complex , the early music is tonally simple , but in some way , just because of the tonal limits , more imagination had to be used , so it became interesting . Pauls Lute cd is a Very good place to start http://www.paul-galbraith.com/engl/bio.htm on his web site , go to Discography , and klik the different CD covers to access samples ,here is a link to one piece http://www.paul-galbraith.com/sounds/lute.wma edit : I say "friend" loosely , I havent been in contact with him for a long time , years , but I had a lot of fun trying to play his guitar a long time ago
  17. Walking out the soreness in my back ( injured it again this week ) what the Japanese call gikurigoshi ( translated as , That hurt like >>>> you fill in the blank ) Made it to Hardoff , and there was in the Junk section , a Denon DMD800 MD deck ... 19. Actually Paypal has Buyer protection services , do some research , I just used it , for a peice of software that didnt work , Complained to the vender , no response , emailed Paypal , and demanded a retraction , in less than 24 hours , I got a response and verification , and my money back from the vendor after a short period , all of which was taken care of by PaYPAL

  21. didnt get to hang out with them , they would come and go once in awhile , but were usually pretty quiet . so just out of respect you keep a certain distance . Privacy is a treasured thing to those who dont have it , and to those who have to much of it , they crave the world ...............
