Do you need a USB MO Drive ? I have one I dont need , that is a High speed drive 1350 RPM ( for MO that is moderate ) the 5400's are way expensive . Logitech , LMO-F654U2 what would you offer , it is in very good shape .

I bought a week ago 45 portable MD units to clean up check out , and post to the MDCF for you guys . My wife thinks I am crazy , ....... she may be right .

I have a Sony TCD-5M sitting in a case , and record with it often . I play tapes , in my WM-EX9 or WM-FX1 (W/Radio, AM Stereo /Fm Stereo/TV)

Now have an Almost Matched pair of the Sony ECM23F3 condenser's A lot changes in a year doesnt it .

Hmmm what Md are you using , and Do you have the recording level set to Auto Level by chance ?? Manual level , will allow you to adjust dramatically the capture volume , on the MD .. check the Menu , for a Sony , early models were this procedure Press and Hold Pause button , then while holding Pause Press Rec , Keep rec pressed for 2 seconds , and it should switch to "Manual Rec Level" Then the FFW /RRW button become Rec level control . I past 100 in the first 2 years of using MD , I stopped counting 6 years ago , and I have been using MD since the beginning I wouldnt want to guess at how many I have .
