The Ultimate Accessory For The Mz-nh1 - You Know It Is!

Ok, it doesn't exist yet, but here is what it is.

Its the remote we have now, minus the wire connecting to the NH1. In its place we would be able to connect the headphone directly to the NH1, through a passthrough on a receiver for the remote. In essence the remote is wireless.

Ah, the freedom of not constantly strangling myself with the remote wire, the headphone wires, etc.

I don't care about potentially losing it, I just wouldn't.

I can dream can't I?

haha a whole new chapter for the FAQ wink.gif

Blue tooth has passed its sell by date --wrong technology for the wrong time.

However a simple accessory I'd like on any of these small recorders is an OPTICAL OUT.

I guess I could even live without the bluetooth headphones since quality of sound could come into question. but bluetooth remote, common already. What is taking so long?

Personally, I would not want bluetooth for my remote. More wireless stuff, more radiation. Since we listen to our units for prolonged periods of time, I don't think it would be that good of an idea.

Best accessory would be a AA battery pack.

Totally agree there! The NH1 has awesome battery life but it's annoying having to cart the charging stand around. A not-so-nice, but almost as useful (for me) thing would be to have an adapter to plug in some sort of AC power directly to the unit without the stand. But a AA battery back would be ideal.

(so would a non-proprietary USB cable adapter that was cheaper than the $25+ish cable it has now)

I think the power required for an optical out would not be practical on one of these small units
