either Michael Kwan is a fraud or a transfestite.1

there are many personalities out there with that name.

it looks like a conspiracy to me; isn't he goin to China to start a comany;

perhape he WANTS Sony to fail so he can carry on the blings of the Hi-MD's.

i wouldn't trust him/her with my .02 cents!

and i take his/her word with a grain of split salt.!

[edit] oh my sources (Google).

I found this article, and no it's not hoax or April fool's joke.

May be true may not. It's simply some speculation I don't think it is too much fundamented. I don't believe sony should abandon minidisc. It's Sony's succesful creation in Asia and Europe. They have to support all the people who owns a mindisc. I think the hi-md is a great invention, light years ahead from mp3 and with enormous possibilities. Who knows if next year we have 2gb minidiscs on stores?

Time remains to be seen

From our contacts @ Sony we know the following:

It is UNDESIDED if there will be a next MD-model. It is totally depending on the succes of the RH1. If it is a succes we might see future models. If it is a flop it was the last model. Very logical I would say.

why do i (rayzray) have a "Feeling" that it will be a success; what exactly would "success" constitute, though?

Errm....people buying it? Then more Hi-MD models next year...

:P
