Just curious, is there anything special about the EH50? It's just a downloader unit right, like the EH1? I don't know why units that only download or playback become rare or valuable.

Is that the RH1 remote? There's one on ebay from Asia for less than $8. Is that reliable?

Is that the standard MZ-RH1 remote? The link to the hack says you must use a an R900 remote and it's not the RM-38EL.

Thanks. I did the hack but I don't see any treble controls, just bass boost. I'm assuming I have to use a special remote for this unit.

Considering this unit and the DN430 puts out more bass than Hi-MD units, it's a great feature to have.

Thanks, I missed the link but it does record in SP. I thought only the MZ-RH1/M200 recorded in SP, since I remember reading that the MZ-RH10 does not, unless you do a hack.
