I found my old Genesis at my parent's house, I cleaned it up and hooked it up to my t.v. and it still works. Even Mortal Kombat 3 works! It comes complete with all the necessary stuff. It's in very good condtion for it's age. Below are 2 pictures of the same system (i couldn't decide which looks better). What you see is what you get! Asking for $50. Price includes shipping, insurance and confirmation delivery. U.S. only. PM or post here if interested.

It's brand new and I think the price is fair. Ebay has RH1 selling for way more than $315. Supply is low so price goes up. Good luck with the sale.
-
Oh yeah! I remember those, but didn't they quickly fade out? Not to criticize your DAT or reason for buying one, but isn't the whole concept of digital tape kind of counter productive. Everytime you play a cassette, the tape stretches which results in loss of sound quality in playback or recording. I think the same applies to DATs. Minidisc is still the ideal compact digital recorder. About the earphones, what model number are they?
-
What's a DAT? And are the earphones by Sony?
-
No, I'm not selling anything. After testing out the factory earphones from my new NetMD player and comparing them to the stock earphones from my RH1, I'm convinced that the earphones from NetMD players are better. They just are, that's what I noticed when listening to the same song with the same EQ settings using both earphones. Apparently, to save on cost, Sony gave us crap earphones with Hi-MD units. NetMD earphones are better.
-
Does anyone have spare factory Sony earphones from an MD or NetMD unit (not HiMD)? I only want the earphones, preferrably black. They must work of course. Please let me know.

Stop pretending you don't like Madonna or Michael Jackson. Buy my CDs.
-
I have 5 used CDs that are in good condition and play great and come with case and booklet. They are original CDs not burned copies. Here they are: -Madonna (1982) -Madonna:Like a Virgin (1984) -Madonna:True Blue (1986) -Michael Jackson: Bad (1986) -Michael Jackson: Dangerous (1991) $5.25 for each CD, buy 2 for $10, 3 for $15, 4 for $20 and 5 for $25. Prices include shipping. Thanks PM me if you don't want others to know you want to buy them. Thanks.

Does anyone on here have an extra pair of sponge pads for Sony earphones? I would prefer if they were new or like new condition. They must fit the standard earphones that come with most Sony MD or Hi-MD units.
-
ATRAC3plus @ 128 is available in SonicStage but it can not be transferred to Hi-MD disc. LP2 sounds a lot better than MP3 @ 128, but @192 it becomes almost identical if not a little better than LP2.
-
Since Sony has pulled the plug on Hi-MD and you can no longer find these discs at any store, at least not in California, where does Sony send the overstock? How are some ebay sellers able to buy these discs for cheap and sell them for a lot?
-
The bass is the most important feature of any MD unit. We all know that MD with ATRAC, ATRAC3 or ATRAC3plus can delivery great mids and highs, but can the unit deliver the lows? Unfortunately, not all of them can. It's like a surround system without a subwoofer. The sound quality isn't complete.
-
I saw those analysis but I don't think they would work for my taste. I find setting my EQ on my RH1 to +3,0,-1,0,+1,+2. That seems to give the best bass response while maintaing the mids and highs. What is this type-S you talk about? Does my new NetMD unit have it? We all have different tastes and ideas on what good sound quality is. But for me, the lows are the most important. The highs and mids are also important as it helps to make music sound more crisp, but the lows are the foundation. Imagine watching a movie in surround sound and the sub-woofer is disconnected. The movies sounds like crap then. I still want to know who were the idiots at Sony for denying mega-bass to the Hi-MD units.
-
Best bass on an RH1 model is with EQ set to: +3,0,-1,0+1,+2. I didn't do any frequency analysis, I just put the earphones on and listened to some bass heavy music.
-
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. So which idiots at Sony said, "hey, lets put less bass into the Hi-MD units."
-
I just picked up one of these MZ-DN430 units from ebay, the silver one, I hooked up to Simple Burner and transferred some eurodance music in LP2 and wow!!! The music sounds great and it has awesome bass. I'm sorry, but it puts my RH1 to shame. Is there anyway to transfer the bass function or circuit to the RH1. If there is, I would love to do that! The bass output reminds me of my old, but loved, Sharp MD unit. Sony screwed up the Hi-MD units by not using the same bass functions or circuits as the NetMD and Standard MD units.
-
I'm glad you got it to work. Hopefully you will not have anymore problems. I always push the stop button on the unit, then it says "ok to eject." At that point I disconnect the usb cable. I don't knowif yanking the usb cable harms anything.

Price lowered! $350 shipped.

It's not a lense cleaner, it's a recording head cleaner. The instructions clearly say to push record and let it record for 10 seconds. It may be in standard MD mode and that could be the problem, or it maybe in windows format. Although the disc was working when I used it, it may be my fault for not checking what format it was in. I was pretty sure it was in Hi-MD as I used it on my old RH10 with no problems.

I sold a used but working Sony MD head cleaner to a forum member and it he sent me this message today: Chris, I received the MD head cleaner today. I inserted it into my M200 and "READ ERROR" appeared. I waited until it shut off, ejected it, and inserted it again. Same error. If I tried to record while the "READ ERROR" was flashing, it wouldn't record but continue to flash. I repeated everything but no go. Then I waited until it went off and pushed record. It started recording until 6 seconds and then stopped with a message flashing, "REC ERROR". This happened twice. Any ideas what's wrong? Bob Is there anyway to fix this? I don't want the guy to think I scammed him. Thanks.

This is the original Doom series from the 90's. The 3 discs are in very good condition, have a few light scratches but play great. These games will work on a PC with Windows 95 or later. Here's what's included: -Ultimate Doom (Doom I with 4 episodes) -Doom II -Master Levels (200 extra levels for Doom I and 1600 extra levels for Doom II) -Doom Trilogy booklet (in great condition, no wrinkles or rips) It's 3 discs total and it comes with the Doom trilogy booklet which looks great. I no longer play the classic Doom games, so I'm selling them. Rest assured, these are the original discs, they are NOT burned copies. My asking price is $35 shipped U.S. or Canada.
