  2. Pics for the non-believers: Buyer chooses 1 of these games: $15 shipped. Come on, don't get cheap on me.
  3. For $15 shipped, you'll get: -CD lens cleaner -Forest Gump Mindisc 2 -Xbox game: PGR 2 or Crimson Skies.
  4. Wow. No takers. Hmmm......people are getting cheap.
  5. For $10 shipped to the U.S., I'll throw in that Forest Gump Minidisc I've been trying to sell.
  6. For sale is a CD that cleans the pick up lense from a CD, DVD and DVD-ROM drive. It's a Maxell brand, and has only been used a handful of times. The brushes are still intact and can be used for many more cleanings. It comes with the CD and it's original case (instructions on back). Asking for $8 shipped to the U.S., $10 to Canada. Let me know if interested.
  7. Does anyone know or understand why the same MZ-M200 unit is cheaper at Minidisc Canada than it is at minidisco.com? Minidisc Canada offers it for about $315 plus shipping, but minidisco sells it for $375 plus shipping. Are they selling the same units, or knockoffs? Or is it a case of greed vs better deal?
  8. I think it is best just to wait so you can purchase one yourself. Asking someone to buy it for you with your money is an open door to getting scammed. It's very simple for someone to take your money and disappear. It's the sad online world we live in.
  9. Not that we don't believe you, but do you have pics of all the stuff your selling?
  10. Yeah, it's good but no one has picked it up. $5.50 shipped.
  11. Exaggerated? No, it's ideal. Do you think ATRAC SP is exaggerated in sound quality over MP3 128kbps? No it's not, it's ideal! Just like mega bass is. Without stronger bass, Hi-MD sound quality is really pointless. You might as well listen to an iPod with the crap white earphones it comes with. I'm not saying I don't like the bass response on my RH1, I just wish it had an extra notch. It's already at max.
  12. Sorry, it's not that I don't believe you, i just don't believe Sony's claim. Saying that HiMD units have Type-S is like saying they have MegaBass, we both know that's not true.
  13. The lack of bass in the Hi-MD units is what makes the HD amplifier worthless. Type-S should have been used instead along with the +3 bass and +3 treble settings.
  14. Well, I continue to be impressed with my NetMD unit. I recorded one song in ATRAC SP and ATRAC LP2 and when played back, I could hardly tell the difference in sound quality. This Type-S playback codec it has blows away the Hi-MD unit's bogus HD amplifier.
  15. This is an genuine pre-recorded minidisc. This is not a copy. It's a shame the minidisc forum no longer cares about old MD albums.
  16. Those are rare. I've never seen any of those before. Where did you get those?
  17. I only have disc 2 of the soundtrack. This is an original pre-recorded minidisc. I don't have the case or booklet and I don't have disc 1. The minidisc is missing the front cover sticker and the slider moves freely. But it sounds great in good old SP 292. The table of contents are printed on the back of the disc as follows: Disc Two "Volunteers" performed by Jefferson Airplane – 2:04 "Let's Get Together" performed by The Youngbloods – 4:36 "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" performed by Scott McKenzie – 2:58 "Turn! Turn! Turn!" performed by The Byrds – 3:54 "Medley: Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In" performed by Fifth Dimension – 4:48 "Everybody's Talkin'" performed by Harry Nilsson – 2:44 "Joy to the World" performed by Three Dog Night – 3:16 "Stoned Love" performed by The Supremes – 2:59 "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" performed by B.J. Thomas – 3:00 "Mr. President" performed by Randy Newman – 2:46 "Sweet Home Alabama" performed by Lynyrd Skynyrd – 4:43 "It Keeps You Runnin'" performed by The Doobie Brothers – 4:13 "I've Got to Use My Imagination" performed by Gladys Knight & the Pips – 3:30 "On the Road Again" performed by Willie Nelson – 2:29 "Against the Wind" performed by Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band – 5:33 "Forrest Gump Suite" composed by Alan Silvestri – 8:49 Only asking for $6 shipped.
  18. If you copy music from CD to the Xbox, it is more likely in Windows Media Audio. That wouldn't be surprising since Microsoft owns that codec. This may be the cause of why track marks are not recorded. Try direct CD -> optical out -> SP recording. That should work fine.
  19. Out of all Hi-MD units, the RH1 sounds the best. The bass is stronger, mids are sufficient and the highs are crisper. And thats really all that matters. This supposed HD digitial amp that it has is a joke though. My NetMD players puts out stronger bass and good midrange and highs. Type-S > Digital Amp
  20. No none at all. I laugh at copy protection, there's so many programs out there to remove protection. Yes, i recorded 2 tracks but you can set the Hi-MD player to sync recording so it will count tracks.
  21. To my surprise my Xbox 360 has an optical out. I hooked up to my RH1 and did some real time recording in SP (292) and the music sounded great! It was also a little more "bassy." For any of you who have an Xbox 360 and like to do SP recordings, I highly recommend this. You would probably get better sound quality from the Xbox compared to optical outs from other music players. The Xbox also allows you to change the settings for digital output which is why you would get better sound quality.
  22. Many portables do not have optical outs. Atleast none that I have seen. My Xbox 360 does have optical out, which was a surprise.
