I know the price may be too high, but figuring that these units are no longer being made and are almost out of stock on most online stores, it didn't hurt to try. I may hold on to the unit, until ALL MZ-M200/MZ-RH1 units are sold out and completely out of stock.

I think I'm pretty much done with minidisc. I've got an MZ-M200 unit in great condition. Works just like new. Here's what's included: 1.) MZ-M200 unit with rechargeable battery 2.) Sony factory remote control 3.) Sony factory earphones 4.) Sony factory USB cable 5.) Sony factory AC charger 6.) 14 brand new and sealed 1GB Hi-MD discs What is NOT included: 1.) Original box and owners manual 2.) Cloth pouch 3.) Sony factory stereo microphone 4.) Sony factory microphone extension cable 5.) SonicStage CD software In case you don't know, the MZ-M200 is identical to the MZ-RH1. Obviously you can download a newer version of SonicStage from the Sony website, as well as the owners manual. I'm including all the new Hi-MD discs because, there's no point to keeping them if I sell my Hi-MD unit. I'll try to get pics up later or tomorrow. Asking for $400 shipped, to the U.S. only. Paypal is accepted, but I would gladly take cash or personal check (assuming it's legit). This is a high value item, and can not take the risk of it getting lost to international shipping. Thanks.

YES! I had a Sharp MD unit with 24-bit ATRAC and when I recorded through optical input, the music sounded crisp, clear with plenty of bass, thanks to it's X-Bass feature. It's sad that a $300 RH1 unit, doesn't have 24-bit ATRAC or X-Bass.

I'm in Los Angeles and a Laker fan, so I think this series will be over on Sunday. Lebron should not have gotten the MVP award. MVPs don't sit around watching the Finals. They are in the Finals.

You think Sony is actually gonna somehow resuce Minidisc? Not a chance. Why? Because they reject every single good idea, and adopt their own format killing regulations. Look at the PS3, way behind Xbox 360 and Wii. Sony just does not know how to market good products, make them cheap, and easy to use.

If the administrators or owners of the website don't see any revenue coming from it, they will close it down. The advertisers on forums expect some forum members or visiters to visit their online stores and make purchases. If they don't, there's no need to advertise at all, therefore no money for the forum owners.

It sounds like you have more mechanical issues than just sound distortion. Hopefully others can help because I don't know how to fix these units.

I can record in SP using my Xbox 360 optical output. When connected to Xbox live, it grabs the song titles but doesn't transfer them to the MD. YOu should have the auto-track feature enabled so it can keep count of how many songs you're recorded.

The new Sony touchscreen MP3 player won't be released til June 20th, and will include noise cancelling earphones. It will come in two versions, 16GB and 32GB. It looks to be a strong competitor with iPod Touch and have the same sound quality as Minidisc. So I'm now leaning more towards selling my MZ-M200 and all the Hi-MD discs.

Very disappointed with the lack of response from forum members. Sony is finally putting out a music player to directly compete with iPod and no one cares.

Here's a link to the SonyStyle website. The touchscreen mp3 player isn't for sale yet. It will be released on June 20th. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...552921665869062

They do have a 32GB touchscreen mp3 player. It's $399 and I don't want to spend that much. Besides, counting all my Hi-MD discs and standard discs, I have about 16GB worth of space. 16GB is enough and of course, you can delete and upload new music whenever you want through windows explorer (drag and drop).

Like I mentioned in another post, I'm thinking of selling my MZ-M200 and getting a Sony Touch screen MP3 player. It looks really nice and it looks like it's suppose to compete with the iPod Touch. The unit also has 5-band equalizer and something called "clear bass." I hope that's like mega bass or something. Anyone have any experience or own one of these Sony units?

They sell for more than $200 on ebay, so try there. I sold my RH10 on this forum for $225 shipped as well. Your price is good and fair.
-
Hello Scammer, no I'm not selling the unit, yet. Thanks for asking.
-
I think they do, my box wasn't wrapped either. I don't think Sony does that, not even with the PSP.

New Sony Hi-MD RH1, Silver ( Price Reduced) Cheap!
Sony_Fan replied to ilovemd's topic in Classifieds
Nice unit and the price is fair. Do not be discouraged by lowballers on this forum. -
I agree. I've left the sticker on it because it is technically an MP3 player. I've got some new Hi-MD discs to go with it. Do you guys think I can get $300 for all the items I've mentioned?
-
Yes, I do have the wall charger. I forgot to mention that. The wall charge is just a USB adapter connected to an AC power pack. I also noticed, looking at other people pics of their RH1 or M200, that they don' thave the little blue "MP3" sticker. Mines has that. Any idea why some do and others don't?

I'm thinking of selling my MZ-M200. I really only use it to play music, but unfortunately I can't really take it with me everywhere because I'm afraid it will break. My main concern is to not damage it. If I keep it, I probably will not use it, and wait til all MZ-M200 units are sold out. This might give me an edge in asking for a higher price for it. The unit itself is in almost new condition. The only items I have to go with it are the remote control, Sony earphones, USB charging cable. I posted a pic below. Just wanted some opinions or suggestions. Thanks.

It should. Not sure why it's not resetting. Sony needed to put a "reset" button somewhere just for these things. Try looking in the display menu and see if you find a reset feature? I know my the iPods have reset in the menus.
-
Hopefully! Just to make sure it's reset, remove the battery and let the unit sit overnight. That will for sure discharge any remaining power in the unit. Good luck!

You should be amazed by yours. <-- means it was a joke. I'm from South America too, and I can't believe they have internet in my home country.
