SonicStage is a poor program for that... Playlist : 1) "MP3 2 MiniDisc" freeware : http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Mp3_2_MiniDisc/ 2) WinAmp [http://www.winamp.com/player/].Load Winamp, import your files, then click the Misc button twice to get the option Generate HTML Playlist. Set Winamp first to get what you want to have in your printing : track number + track title for example. Then use a screen capture freeware or copy your text from the web browser and paste it into your own Microsoft Word template, edit it and print it. If you want a complete design, export the text in "The Gimp" or Photoshop... What is important for ME, is what I want to hear. I was just today recording The Stooges "Raw Power" and I read on the other version of this disc called "Rough Power" that the Stooges said that "Raw Power" was not the album they want us to hear. Sadly for them, I prefer the original sound "Raw Power" ha ha ha ! I think your are right when it is classical music or a old jazz band.

Yes the sound is louder than Winamp alone. I record in real time with Winamp + DFX in SP mode. Did not notice any distortion. What do you meen by "clip", cut ? jitter ?

Sadly I cannot compare to an Onkyo Hi-MD deck.

I just fix to 5 5 - 5 5 freeware version I did not study any other configuration but I suppose purists guys could do. On one of my computer, I have also a Creative Xi-Fi audio card witch had 3D plus another kind of processing to enhance greatly MP3 music. I notice that the freeware DFX make 3/4 of all the enhancing work.

note that you can buy a MD deck for this price or Iphone, Ipod, PSP...
