I think the original idea was to discuss the news articles but it grew into something more, as people just posted random things on netMD being broken and whatnot.

This program seems remarkably similar to MD-Editor in function . Pretty neat.

What is the best plyer/recorder ever made for money?
me replied to a topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
Well for playback.. Apparently the E10 is the same as the N10, and the DS8 beats the E10, which is in turn beaten by the DR7, we can conclude the DR7 is the best sounding modern portable. Not. Some people prefer one sound, some another (Sonys.. Panasonics.. Aiwas...) So yeah, there really isn't a 'best' MD unit. But from sound alone, these are some of the modern goodies: DS8, E10, E710. MD-DR7, MZ-N10 -
It should be possible though.. But i'm fairly certain Sony's wires are covered in an enamal, and are tricky to solder. And your buds wouldn't work with normal 3 polar equipment.. Hmmm, I need some sennhesier MX400s. That would be an ideal candidate.. Oh man, I don't want to kill these four pole buds though. Heh.
-
No one has any experiences on it.. A lot of the users I think have only Sony equipment. Mystyler has played around with it though, gives it a big thumbs up. He said the LCD was one of the best. I'd say go for it.

The best? I don't really think there is a best.. I think my next combination is going to be a ripper though: MDS-PC1 for editing, recording, and home playback. MD-DR7 for recording on the bus, concerts, at friends houses etc. -
They're set for release in april/march. Personally, I would wait I might just get an NE410 for kicks. I already have a DR7, PC1, E900, and R37. But it's "only" NZ$260 apparently
-
D'oh! I didn't think that there device needed drivers. The serial one I have with my PC1 doesn't need 'em, at any rate.. It's a xitel clone, the sony one. http://www.xitel.com/content/content_suppo...rtMDPDG2.htm#ip

It's used to connect to a PC for titling and other editing operations . You can also start sync recording using the application (m-crew). It's real time recording.

Your included buds are four polar.. Feel like doing a cable swap?

I'm certain I answered a question like this.. Did you post at the T-Station? 1. Japan is 100v, 50/60Hz. It will work, but you risk cooking a) your unit, your battery. Get an adapter. It's worth it. 2. Under warranty, no. I assume you mean in Canada. Check your importers returns/warranty conditions before you buy it. It will have a domestic Japanese warranty, 1 year parts, 3 months labour. 3. No. Well, most of the manual is in Japanese. There is a brief english section at the back, but it is very brief, and will probably refer to diagrams in the Japanese section.

Hyperjack are reliable. There are reviews of 'em on the T-Station
-
Those are like NZ$100, a bit over budget (yes, that was a subtle hint to include at least the currency in your post).
-
Bah! that takes too long. Take Sony buds. Take other crap buds you have lying around. join 'em up! Done!
-
It makes the unit incredibly fat and therefore annoying to take out and put into your pocket. Well, that's my experience from it, and I preferred my R37.
-
You don't need software for the MR220. It doesn't support netMD. Take a line cable (minijack to minijack), from laptops lineout/headphone out, to the MR220's line in. Press play on software player. Press record on MR220. And Sony never supported a Panasonic MR220
-
Ey? that's a player only.. I'd say make an R37 again, with only one battery. I find that's way better than having it stuck on the back.

is my mz-g750 a good md or is it a piece of junk
me replied to a topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
Grammar's useful second: The G750 is pretty good. A mid-range model that's now out of production. The tuner is featured in 2 models: G755, and G750. -
HHB or Marantz have a "semi" portable that has those features.. I think they cost about US$600-$1500. And they certainly aren't R9XX series small. They're closer to MZ-1 sized. Other than that, theres nothing.
-
The MS722 looks like a watch, the DR7 looks 'weird', the N10 looks like a remote with a block of metal thrown at it, and the R37 looks like a microwave And, the MDS-PC1 just looks AWESOME

basically tweaking the EQ then recording that tweaked sound to MD. Dig around head-fi . So it's only really useful if you only have EX70s. The other mods are killing the bass (tape those holes in the back shut), and making the treble less harsh (cutting off that paper circle, stuffing some headphone pad in there, sealing it again with aluminium foil tape. Search for 'silver mod' at head-fi).
-
Search around head-fi for it, EX70 ety mod, you'll need the shibatch equaliser, either google it or there's probably a linky on head-fi. BTW, the EX70s have to be unmodded for this to work
-
makes an EX70 sound somewhat like an Ety ER4
