u wouldn't y is that? i think it's ok..cuz comparing the former 170 MB i think i'm not sure the exact size but the former was something in that range to 1000MB that's quite a lot for $7 no where else ur getting 1GB soo cheap..who knows that's probably y the units r soo expensive...

ok Japan's release date is in 38 days..what about the US...cuz i mean having release them on the 10th July wouldn't that encourage some black market..sony wouldn't want that would they..ne who i'll start searching to c if ne final date has been set for the US release...but i'm sure it won't b too far after the release in Japan... well let's hope right cuz i remember when the MZN1 came out it came out months in Japan b4 it did in the US.. haha Leland had to do some editing..didn't have on my head there i was taking June for July...mad bad :grin:

i agree with Kurisu...take the Ipod..cuz who knows what my b around the corner with HI-MD u know..with the ipod u'll get on more songs in less time u could probably select all the songs in ur music folder n transfer them where as with the HI MD u'd have to b around to change discs n what not..i'm sure by the end of the 2 months u'll b in a kinna rush...so yeah I pod would b the way to go in ur case :smile:

ANITSHOCK???? ...... no my friend it's G-Protection uhh.. it's a special type of anti shock so to speak..doesn't have much to do with saving stuff in memory n what not..mostly dependant on the lens reading ahead n crap like that but i can't remember where i learned it all..sorry but i believe it's somewhere on Minidisc.org.. can some1 help him out with a link..

well on the topic of how it would feel.. my guess is it won't feel as solid as a unit that's enclosed entirely in a hard material such as alluminum...but it's gonna feel ok....altho having 2 units that's part alluminum n part plastic.. the plastic for my N707 seems to have been cheap for one when i purchased the unit there was a crack under by one screw ..when i took it home n i saw that i took it back to the store n had it replaced.. n the exact same thing..not only that i bought it at pc Richard in NY..i wasn't too comfortable with the crack not knowing that's how most of them came...i went to J&R n had them show me what they had in the showcase n it was the same thing....i saw a dude on the train n asked him to show me his n it was the same thing..now the other end has a crack n it seems to b cuz of dry rot so i don't know what to say..where as my G755 seemed to had been made in a very hard plactic good for the buck.....wish the NH900 was made entirely outa something hard cuz with the plasctic once u remove the screws n replace them chances r they might come out again without ur knowing due to the slackness of the plactic on the Alluminum.. wow ..i read something earlier through some link i found on minidisc.org..the translated page.. well what i was reading sounded all bogus so i just said stupes n went on..n i was thinking of it n as u said eh....it's like they're paying ppl to "NOT" think..that's all i have to say for this crap..i'm soo glad i'm not getting a NH1 all due to me being on shaky grounds with sony n MD this year..i don't know what they have up their sleeves...i feel like i'll b spending tons of cash on the NH1 n then they do some dumbs stuff next year..ne who...i'm loosing my cool

WOW.....hold it... dude don't say that bout the Bible..man...that statement could get u into trouble... altho pretty soon normal MD might become absolete.. but MDLP n NET MDs still gonna b around a lil more.. i'm sure ppl gonna buy them as gifts for relatives n what not... :smile: ..the only competing thing with MDs r the price...they're all round the same price region..u know...an R900 costs almost the same as the N1 n they're almost completely different..but we'll c bout that in the future with HI MD being usable as media storage device :wink:

hmm....well let me c what i can tell u...i don't have either remotes in my hand but from what i can c the NH1 remote have a 3 line display..showing all the information that the NH900 unit's display shows..uhhh.....that i believe would include all editing capabilities... that remote might only work on that unit n that's bout the only comparison i can give..as to the price factor 1. they use different types of batteries.. 2. the NH1 was designed/developed to cost more by all means 3. it has a usb connectivity in the cradle 4. time stamp there's a lil comparisson on this page: http://minidisc.org/himd_table.html (can some1 give him other references cuz none ain't coming to mind right now) as for the battery no it doesn't go into the unit it is connected at the bottom of the unit... remember the battery is just an alternative..the unit wasn't manufactured to use AA batteries internally other wise there wouldn't b an option to connect the ext battery.. well i was just thinking n i thought it would b interesting to know how did the memebers/users of the forum came accross the site and how did they become a member..as for me..i have no idea how i came to b a member all i knew is that i loved minidisc to the bone ..saw a place where i could learn n have fun...thought it was a cool factor to know more than the average man.. :grin:... or if memory serve me right..i joined a message board..had a prob with my MD....ne who i couldn't find the url..so i probably went searching..then i found Minidisc.org...it became my home :love: ... started spending all my time going to all thelinks they provided...learning all i could about everything...even had the site as my home page n that's that

but isn't this all just too funny..... before u had more than enough battery life to play off a disc now the disc got more play time than the battery can handle..how strange

depends on the mood really..when i wanna ignore ppl it's 30/30 when skating it's 30/30 cuz soo much wind n noise passes through the head phones SONY MDR G52 when driving with the windows cracked same 30/30.....other wise when sleeping 10/30 doing nething else..well what ever level AVLS stops at..

oh yes he can...i've done it countless times...just plug ur usb link to ur pc then connect ur optical cable n vowalla.....u got transfer at 1x to ur MD from Media player :smile: .. other wise dude i don't think there's ne other alternative but u can try n c if it's possible to use Music match or Open MG which i haven't heard u mention yet

Majestic it's a newbie...probably don't know what's his recording head.. :smile: but something else he should know..once it happens to one disc chances r the disc might not b usuable ever again so i'd advice him n ne one else who's experiencing the same prob ..to only use one disc or else u'll end up with a lot of messed up discs with currupt TOC
