  1. Good bit of info here: http://www.minidisco.com/mz-rh710.html No idea about the remote, however. Probably no.
  2. Identical to the Canada SS3.1 installer that doesn't have Connect.
  3. Reinstall via the directions in the FAQ.
  4. Thanks eric..I was hoping he'd figure it out. p.s. There is no mp3 limitation, you probably just have some mp3's that Sonicstage doesn't like.
  5. You need to enter service mode exactly how I've described it. Please re-read and try again.
  6. This is sorta random, but what temperature was it when you recorded?
  7. What happens when you press volume +/-, though? Do you see hex values you can adjust?
  8. I believe that Daijoubu shall deliver the installer very soon - a little tease for you fiends.
  9. Your welcome. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9752
  10. bump for version .1, with full hack. Please report any issues, and thank you in advance to the testers!
  11. Let's discuss it here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9767

  13. Such a good deal, even after currency conversion it was $131 USD..*drool*
  14. If you can record that way, then you need to dump the old old old old OpenMG and upgrade to Sonicstage 3.1 - links are in the pinned topics at the top of this forum.
  15. Are you sure that's unusual? Rode NT4's are very popular here in the States. I haven't had any experience in any aspect with them, but I've heard that they preform very well. Any NT4 users want to chime in and give us some notes? I believe if you also search you'll see some opinions about them as well.
  16. Yes. I don't know if second generation units can edit those types of tracks though, so don't assume so just yet..
  17. Any first generation Hi-MD unit should be able to manipulate a track via the unit itself as long as the track in question was not downloaded off the PC.
  18. smkranz, we must meet before I move from Maryland in July - your rhetoric cracks me up. Yes, you should be fine with SS 3.x; I would recommend backing up the database just to be safe, but the installer for Sonicstage 3.x automatically detects a prior installation and then installs over it whilst keeping the database in tune. Re: Thunderbird; been using it for many moons and have no thoughts of switching back to OE. It's light, does everything I need it to do and has alot of functionality. Plus it's not Microsoft! You can't go wrong.
  19. Welcome to the forums. In regards to your question - Yes, definitely.
  20. You gotta go with Hi-MD for sure then. Where are you located?
  21. What kind of headphones do you have?
  22. Welcome to the forums, cbud. Can you take a picture of that?
