Anyone have any recommendations for other files we can add? I'm working on a Sonicstage 3.1 installer, but anything else?

It came straight from Sony late last year. Sorry, Developer's opinions override yours.

things have been destroyed without consolation exceeding desperation trying to fly far from this prison metal tied with the cold bars of reality the silent figure shakes it's head breaking our fantasy * cold wind scarring dry tears stars fading; spurring fear losing vision of a content being losing touch with our shared feeling fate which has lost all control i bury myself deeper in this hole a "harsh reality" in which i am forced to see but in the end, i only wanted to be free

No no, that's not a mention of Sonicstage 4. It's clearly obvious that they've listed the programs in numerical order and nothing more. Why they wrote it like that is beyond me..
-
That'd just be too weird. I doubt they'd drop Sonicstage, to be honest.

Hey you nerd, open up an album in the Member's Gallery and share your pictures there. Nice unit, btw.

I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the feedback, as always.

Imminent: Live Recordings Made By You..
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Live Recording
Yes, I plan to roll this out on my birthday, 4/20. -
Hello, just wanted to announce I got a nice download system going that will soon be the place to house all MD related downloads. Furthermore, it's perfectly integrated into the forums in the username/password sense! Feel free to check it out whilst I mess with it, here: http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/

Thanks Dex. Yes, we actually post more than links here, please read the thread that Dex has linked as it's much more informative. I didn't cover that MDLP bookshelf as there's very little interest in that stuff these days.

Pfft. They really should introduce the second generation Hi-MD units now instead of milking what's left of the first. The second generation units are much more attractive..

I beat him this time. Anyway, send me a PM with this stuff in the future, beta.

The Gallery should be functional in every way for all templates now.

So, you know, another Onyko bookshelf reported by av-watch, but something is afoot.. [attachmentid=262] Looks the usual, but the back.. [attachmentid=263] [dubbed X-N9] Hmm. Yum. Who needs USB, anyway. Pretty much everything you need for home, approaching deck-like functionality and enhanced ATRAC recording/playback. It looks to be hella expensive. There's actually another clone model called the X-N7, but it has lesser quality speakers [in sound, construction]. The individual wide amplifier technology "WRAT" within the amplifier allows "the super high pass which exceeds 100kHz". 14W×2ch (8 Ω time). It really works because of the in/out potential there, however..205×356×147mm, no *.mp3 compatibility, and can do 2x CD to MD dubs along with the rest of the ATRAC3/plus family. The price, however, is steep [at least to Americans, as they'll have to import]: The X-N9 will run at least $850 - 900 at bluetin [if they decide to carry it] or even $1,000 at a store like Audiocubes. The lesser model [with no difference in hardware, just speakers] will still run for $750 - 800. p.s. One last note; this bookshelf is compatible with an iPod accessory made by Onkyo, called the DS-A1. [attachmentid=260] [attachmentid=261] [ed. note - last time I'll use an iPod in a news bit, promise] Two portable devices in harmony?

Hello, Just wanted to say that very soon we will start hosting live recordings made by you guys/girls here at the forums. It will all be accessible via the Gallery, a members-only benefit that you get out of the free registration of the forum [registration only takes under a minute with no catch]. Not only do you get to hear other people's recordings, but you can share your own! There will obviously be a few limitations in place, but it will be a nice way for everyone to share their efforts and help people understand the true power of the format. I look forward to this new endeavor and I will make a more formal announcement when everything is in place [within the next few days]. Obviously, a few rules will be in place: No full concerts, preferable high-bitrate *.mp3 [nothing extreme - anything more than 320kbps is really silly], or *.wav if sonically necessary, and more. All the details will be covered in the final announcement after they are agreed upon by the staff. You can check out a few recordings now made by Dex and I! p.s. Single file upload cap is at 50 megabytes now, but obviously, that's insane for one recording.

Hi, and welcome to the forums. Simple - they are copyright protected content. Try ripping the music to the computer first via another program and then importing it into Sonicstage.

You should use Sonicstage 3. Here's a helpful thread: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9087
