Unfortunately you cannot use that radio remote with the NH900 or any model except the NH800. It may work with previous radio-type units, however..

Did the person you bought the unit from state anything to you about this in the description? Please send him/her an e-mail and inquire about the status of the unit before it was shipped to you.

Welcome to the forums. That remote will indeed work with the NH700, but I cannot guarentee that all functions will work properly.

Welcome to the forums. The reason why Win98 is not compatible with NetMD is because Win98 doesn't do that well with USB, whereas Win98SE does. Do you use USB devices on this computer?

Welcome to the forums. Sonicstage 2.1 isn't that bad. I recommend you upgrade via connect.com. See above; check-in/out doesn't exist with Sonicstage 2. Yes, but this is common knowledge that is easily available on any MD site, here, minidisc.org, minidisct.com/forum and others. Where did you do your homework at? Try Sonicstage 2.1. Can you be a little more descriptive? I'm a bit confused by this statement.
