congrats, i havent been to the sony style store in New York yet, just too lazy. $6.99 is the normal price for a HiMD blank these days.

i haven't kept track of how long an MD is reusable, but i did have 1 crap out on me. i use one for daily radio recording.

i dont think any of Sony's MD recorder's Remote has a record button on it, only the sharps did. a record button on the remote would be very useful for stealth recording.

not that i had any problems with the eject button on the RH1, but i rather have the same eject button as that on the 600D and the 800 unit.

dude, why u want to order from sam ash? they are ripping u off at that price of $350.....minidisco.com and many other places online sell them at $330. DO NOT ORDER FROM SAM ASH........u can use that $400.00 gift card on something else.

what's with the ALL CAPS? that's considered SHOUTING in cyberspace. the RH1 will RECORD without the remote. the remote is NOT necessary to record. but u do need a MIC to record live............

as far the title viewing, i agree...it shouldnt be remote dependent. i much rather have the titles than that spectrum analyzer.

i had ran into the same problem while making an AUDIO CD with nero, it just some CD players that can't play them back. perhaps is a copy protection thing????

why would u want to eject the disc while it is still playing? that may damage the recorder.

i walked a few minutes with my RH1 and haven't experienced any skipping yet.

i never tried the bose either, and personally dont like them that much either. i think they are overrated as well. but they were noise cancelling....so thought i suggestted them.

i say u got an excellent deal, cuz i bought a used one for $10 more. but i did also get an extra remote control. and 33 discs. 25 of them has music on them though.

$25 is still really not that bad at all.

i haven't checked the prices on ebay...what does it cost these days?
