You did yourself a favor replacing the n1 with the nh700 as you will have more options such as uploading recordings with the hi-md unit. I swear your avatar is the same pattern as my mums favorite microwave cookware...

I'm slow to post this one as I should have done it when the trade was initiated...sent some discs Sparda's way, e-mails were friendly and succinct, an easy person to do business with.

Submitted for your approval...Haunted MiniDisc Player

Don't know if it is the same person posting but the description was used a few years back. -
I've got a pink already and my next eh70 would be the blue because there aren't other units the same shade of blue. It isn't a navy or sky, more like a turquoise.

No, don't have the 600 series to compare.
-
Yep, your right...all color LCD...now I understand the difference better between OLED and LCD.
-
Didn't know the radio model used LCD display. Looking up the model on a search engine would not have been much help either. Several of the reviews say it has OLED and only a few mention LCD. One review says "OLED LCD"...guess they are covering their bases with that statement.

Same here, a minidisc user. The lack of track numbers still bothers me but I've gotten use to the rest and even like the feeling that I'm plugged into a remote that isn't plugged into anything.

I don't see any mention of atrac lossless on the Sony homepage nor in the booklets that came in the box. My 352 comes from copying in wav then transferring over in 352; never had tried the lossless function.

Jenna, what 'phones came with it?
-
Tech, are they offering all the colors at your SonyStyle? I just checked Sony UK and they aren't offering all colors on all models...'spose market research tells 'em certain colors won't sell in certain areas.

2. The units default language is English...I was expecting Japanese and then to have to switch over like we do with minidisc units. 3. All the players in this series come with the mdr-ex90sl canalphones. The black and violet players come with black-bodied 90's and the pink, gold, and blue players come with white-bodied canalphones. 1. That page is me, it is the store for my blog. For a more thorough examination of the player read here.

The FM-equipped model isn't available yet and it will only be in the 2GB (NW-E015) version. You probably wouldn't want to import that model from Japan as it will likely be for Japan's FM band frequency of 76~90Mhz rather than world-band. I don't know if they will be going stateside; aren't they still trying to unload the leftover nw-e00 line there? If you are wanting one from Japan, you can order them at NW-E016.info and from ebay vendors.

It's a Sony so the sound is fine. I'm a minidisc user and got this to give it a try. I like the size; like being plugged into a remote without having the MD player attached to that. The navigation is simple and direct USB hookup makes this easier than requiring a cable or cradle. A couple of times when I've been out, I've needed to recharge so I stepped into a department store I frequent and plugged into a computer for a few minutes to get the quick charge. The info display is different than I'm accustomed to; it doesn't list track number and when transfering a single via SS, the file always gets put into a folder. I 'spose it isn't a big deal, just that I'm not use to it. The jacket display isn't important to me as it is quite small but if it is useful for others then cheers to them. Probably like anyone who uses something with a fixed memory size; I just wish it were larger.

The discs currently offered at Daiso stores around Tokyo are the Sony Basic and Clip series. They released a new set of Cutipops and Circle last fall but haven't put out the entire line of colors yet; still waiting for Cutipop grey and Circle green and brown.

Transactions with Pasta are always polite and easy. Good guy to do business with.

No need to spend 14.95 on the 2GB card as the Micro-br works only with cards up to 1GB which can be had for 7.95. No one is doubting your loyalty to the MD format for quality recording but your sharp argument of price for recording medium, while valid in in 2005 and 2006, has been blunted in 2007.
-
Once a formidable argument that is petering out to a cliche. 1gb SD card prices have dropped to 10.00 usd and less for the slowest writing cards which are faster than hi-md.
-
Yep, 2006. Saw them in Daiso this evening, the 74 and 80 minute version...I knew they looked familiar.

It is fun to see what ads appear on the front page...i.e, Rental homes in Maryland (MD), Illinois MD license, MD Anderson Temp. stay--a gated community,

What year were these, Ishi?
-
Happy birthday, Richyhu. Isn't there a law in the Netherlands that you must drink a litre of beer for every year of your life? If there isn't, there should be.
-
Probably so, I never use those codecs so I don't think much about which format they belong to. Now that you mention it, the number 64 or 66 or 68 does come to mind for what lp4 is.

Not much info to say about the c37 as it is like all other mdlp units but with a longer cell life. The 300+ hours is based upon using the internal cell along with the external pack and the recorded bitrates are at a minimum, 48kbps. There is a Victor unit with even longer cell life than the c37, the c31.

I have to sign back in every few days here and at Atraclife though I never signed out.
