  1. can you copy and paste the kanji into a post?
  2. I've tried to duplicate the error but can't get it to happen.
  3. Happy birthday, Adrian. You've reached the age where strange hairs begin to appear in places you never thought hairs would grow.
  4. Actually, if you plan to use Sonicstage, the installation is the other way around. Have BJ, or at least the drivers loaded, then add SS. If you do SS first then BJ, you are likely to encounter freezes of the software. To minimize what all gets loaded, take off BJ. Restart your computer and plug the USB cord into the unit. You will get prompted for drivers, let them load, then load SS on top. I've tried it the other way around with no success then found the loading instructions here in the section labeled software installation from a post by Sefu.
  5. Some members put isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab and rub that over the read lens. I didn't have any luck with that method so I used a disc cleaner and fixed my n920.
  6. homedeck. I'm not at all concerned with an internal HDD or optical out; just want a standard-sized home deck to fit in with my other components. Umwoofwoof, a reasonable sounding argument you made...
  7. this is what the connection looks like...
  8. Was in Akiba today and all rh1's are sold out.
  9. aye Mikami, Over the past few weeks I've seen several people at coffeeshops sporting black remotes. As there is only one black remote, I know what unit they have in their pocket or purse; the mz-rh1. Bland
  10. Your right, Rich, there are two cables in the pack. I never opend the cable bag 'til now, I just noticed the plug-in on the cradle and unit. This is also the same cable that is with the n10. The units you listed above along with the n10 are all Li-ion units...not that it matters but something I noticed.
  11. I never had considered the unit before but it was the opportunity to get the red version that prompted me to bite. It has certainly been fun to play with for the day; all the maids at my favorite cafe were asking me to take their pictures. Gonna have to get a backup cell or two and probably an extra USB cable as this one is proprietary. I'm ready to put it up but I can't decide upon a name. I've narrowed it down to Japan-gadgets or Japan-electronics but can't decide which is better; perhaps it doesn't matter. Japan-gadgets is close to the name of my blog but I don't know if the retail side should be that close or have the appearance of being totally separate. Opinions welcome...
  12. Like Pata says, try the newest version of Sonicstage. If you are still having problems, you can use Realplayer. When using RP you still have to have SS on your computer, you just don't have to open it up and use it for transfer.
  13. It isn't just poll threads, it is all threads. I have started to click on "mark all threads read"; just never had to before.
  14. The refresh is quite long now. Perhaps refresh is not the right word for it. When I check the boards at midnight, the same threads are listed as new 12 hours later though no one has posted to them.
  15. Yikes... 15,990 INR=353.00 usd/38,000 JP yen/
  16. thanks for the confirmation, Viv.
  17. I'm not seeing any mention of a screen like the rh10...
  18. I saw RH1's available Thursday in Akiba at Yodobashi and Ishimaru; granted Ishimaru is divided into five different stores in Akiba which can make it confusing to go to the right one. Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera, Yamada Denki, and Ishimaru Denki in any chou will have them.
  19. Skipped right over the top line to look at the pictures. Now I see it, dang...
  20. Good to see some pics of the black unit and happy to see that a charge-stand is available. The store displays here don't have the unit in the stand, just the unit and the attached anti-theft device.
  21. Yep, Sony mics will work with your Sharp. The headphone output is what is different between Sharp and Sony, not the inputs.
  22. Adjusting the bass settings between "off, 1, 2, 3" is the only thing you can do for eq adjustment. There isn't a 5 or 6 line eq setting to adjust.
  23. ありがとうございました Thank you for the kind thoughts, everyone.
  24. Good, the 2004 series. Been waiting to see these posted so I can, well you know...
