you can use cdex then import the high qual mp3 or even wavs to sonicstage. these will either be transcoded to atarc3/3+ or can be transferred as mp3 to the newest himd & network walkman. is there no way you could use a proxy server to connect to cddb? i prefer freedb but sony's not known for ease of use nor for much user configuration with software.

glad we could be of some help

i don't like the disproportionate amount of space the avatars & sigs take up at new tboard. not that it's too much of a stress as i like it here better.

if you are willing to buy online there's sony, sharp, panasonic, jvc, audiotechnica... the list is enormous. take a look at www.audiocubes.com for headphone choices. my advic`e would be to purchase them locally or else where on the net as the pricing structure there is a little high imo.
-
doubt it'd harm your performance much, on my laptop it's using 4,000kb. just one of those sony 'we know better than you' software choices. i wish they did! anyway when you do find unusual processes running just type 'em into google, there's a few good reference sites but i like to get a range of view on what a file is & if it's harmful.

note the RH10 also has a dry cell battery add on where as the nh1 does not. this limits the batt life to the onboard cell only.

can you please register here? this thread will be moved to a place more sutible for thsi topic. Microsoft?? Windows?? 98 SE, ME, 2000 or XP • Minimum of 500 Mhz processor • Minimum of 400 MB available hard disk space • Minimum of 128 MB RAM • Internet Explorer 5.5 or later • CD-ROM drive (for installation and import or playback from CD) • Supported CD-Recordable drive (for CD burning purposes) • Internet Connection (broadband suggested) is what's required, are you sure you only have 56mb of ram? that sounds wrong to me. you may have more ram but that'll be the shared graphics memory. if what you posted is correct then i'm afraid you fall below the minimum specs. perhaps you can use a friend or family members new PC?

next time pre-reformatting transfer back tracks, or if they're in your library allready run the sonicstage backup tool. try searching the forums for more info.

take a look at the system requirements for the connect player here www.connect.com as this is the software you'll need. to find out your own system specs goto 'my computer' then 'control panel' then 'system' it should then be displayed.

if i remember correctly

they changed the way albums are supported in 3.1, not really sure why as no one seems that impressed. iirc 3.0 still had the old version of album support if you can find it.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/archive/in...php/t-8868.html try searching the net for more BAD_POOL_ERROR as kuris suggested.

yeah there's a few. the only ones that really matter are trendmicro's housecall & windows update but some online ticket vendors will only except IE . i too only use it for the these reasons, not that it's really removable from xp anyway.
