Nice. Can it play mp3's?
-
Minidisc Deck with optical out - PC Card with optical in (if it is SPDIF then use converter). No USB transfer for older pre HiMD recordings.

RH10 I think is going to be the most popular model in the 2nd generation, so I would go with that.
-
What is MZE20? Edit: Yes, it is 2x5mw.
-
I have seen them on sale in many shops.

Hey, has anyone tried Simple Burner? It will probably not work, but still worth a shot.

.wav Files Deleted From Pc After Transfer To Md ?
Michael1980 replied to datafreq's topic in Software
Yes, the Atrac files will be deleted, but not the originals. -
All I know about Atrac and Memory stick (normal size) is: -Pro don't work -New MagicGate don't work -Old MagicGate (white) will work.
-
Hey Nismo96, Nice photos would not go amiss in this thread lol
-
1700 character limit.
-
If you have a large memory stick, you can put your movies onto that.
-
I don't think they do.

Well the information about song title/artist is stored in the file by using id3 tags. AFAIK, there is no way to tell SS to check the file name. My advice would be to organize the id3 tags properly how you want them, you will only have to do it once, since it will be stored and read by all future programs.

I am listening and editing at the same time some radio shows I have recorded. It can get pretty tiring (sp) that lol.

.wav Files Deleted From Pc After Transfer To Md ?
Michael1980 replied to datafreq's topic in Software
Did you delete the files from SS while checking the "delete files from pc" box? Can't believe SS would just delete your files like that. -
Sorry, I don't know the solution to this problem, but why do you need this app (mp3 conversion tool)? Just do on-the-fly encodings (when it deletes the atrac files after transfer) and that's that.

I don't know. I mean it doesn't really offer any major advantages IMO (for non-professionals). CF and big buttons, are nice, but it is not something major. DRM is not a problem since all recordings are converted to Wav's anyway. MD also saves recordings and shuts down, at least my older MDLP do this. MD's offer digital-in on all models, which is nice. Plus, the editing functions on the MD units are nice. Add/delete track marks (on the non-portables you can move by frames, fade-in and fade-out). How about NJB3, what are it's advantages over HiMD?
-
Not that I can remember.
-
That's right, no digital output on the portables. To get that you will have a buy a deck.
-
In my situation, the noise was too much in FM reception. It'a a pitty since I prefer the warmer sound of FM.
-
How do I get the upgrade, and do you know what the price is? I have been a customer for about 5 years. Thanks
-
Just IMO offcourse, but the RH10 is probably the ideal unit at the moment, taking into account all the positive and negative points.
-
Hey, I keep hearing a lot about NJB3 and the above professional recorders: What are their main advantages over HiMD? Thanks

The Easy Way To Force Non Himd Users To Upgrade

NetMD has this for SonicStage files as well. Simple Burner does not give any limitations though.
