Sony MD Walkman MZ-E900 Pictorial

How about the MZ-E610 and the MZ-E810SP? Good luck with your hunt.

Oh yes, very much. Try and get the Yokoyama CD if you do not have it in your collection; every piece within is exquisitely beautiful. The shakuhachi is indeed a very unique and special instrument. It is so simple in design but yet so complex in technique. I also have a copy of the Miyata CD - simply beautiful.

Here you go --> pink E520 @ Yahoo Japan Auctions and a picture depicting the back of the unit (taken from ongoing listing). As for batteries, the unit can definitely accept either 10WM or 14WM gumsticks. No detrimental effects.

Update: edited initial noise cancellation remark to stem further confusion.

Adrian and Rich are quite right regarding the "sound-in" switch. The description regarding the D777SL's "sound-in" switch is somewhat vague (from AVWatch via Sony Dealer Convention 2006) at this point but it is obvious that this "switch" is definitely not a traditional NC so to speak. I don't see how the D777SL can power NC circuitry without an external power source. (i.e. batteries) Update: edited initial noise cancellation remark to stem further confusion.

Sharp MD Walkman MD-DS70-B Pictorial
Ishiyoshi replied to Ishiyoshi's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
Indeed - both "B" units spot the same "blue-speckled" coating. The DR80 is a gorgeous unit. I find its charging LCD cradle to be most interesting. -
Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit multiple tracks simultaneously with CONNECT Player nor SonicStage.

Displaying Chinese Characters On Remote - RM-MC38EL
Ishiyoshi replied to Sparda's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
You will definitely need a remote with a suffix "ELK" to display Chinese/Japanese characters (e.g. RM-MC35ELK, RM-MC40ELK, RM-MC55ELK). In addition to hardware, you will also need to apply the following registry edit: click here, if you haven't done so. *thread moved to its appropriate section of the forum -

Sony Hi-MD Walkman MZ-RH1 Pictorial
Ishiyoshi replied to Ishiyoshi's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
Most of my MiniDiscs/'phones pictorials found in MDCF were shot with the Canon EOS 1Ds Mk.II and Powershot G5. This pictorial was shot with the latter. Thanks for the kind comment. -
That's a very nice unit. Thanks for sharing the pictorial, Tommy!
