Why not just re-install MP3FM and see if that works

By the time MS release the next version of Windows I think most people would have moved on to something new in the world of portable audio. I guess we are talking another couple of years before we get the next version of Windows.

Is Rockbox a firmware you update your DAP with or do you buy the hardware from them? Do you know why the Walkman isn't supported by Rockbox?

Also watched the video. Am liking all the buttons down the side. Knowing Sony the Bluetooth will have it's limitations ie. transferring mp3's from say another unit or mobile/cell phone.

I'll second you on that. If the wife finds out, well lets just say I'll probably be able to join a choir or sing like a Bee Gee

Just Spoke to a Sales Rep in the Tottenham Court Road Sony Centre. He didn't even know about the new range. He said that once it appears on Sony's website it takes up to two months to hit the shelves. I reckon we are indeed looking at some time in April.

Julie, I think that when you spoke to this lady it was a case of left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing. She probably didn't have a clue. From the look of the UK site we will be getting all models. Send her the link

Now note that the A80x range is now an older previous model. So no more ATRAC units for the UK or rest of World outside of Japan.

How strange??? Why then does the Sony UK website show all models as being available here in the UK? I guess we will have to wait and see

I reckon these will be on the shelves in a lot less than seven months. March or maybe April I would imagine. I'm sure they did this with the NW-A80x series this time last year. They do it to get us fanboys and girls all worked up.

As I said in an earlier post, "Sony is teasing us". I'll give some credit to Apple. At least when they announce a product it's on the shelves the following day.
