i (rayzray) know that it repeats songs once in a while in Shuffle mode;; that is;; when i used to have it in "Normal" shuffle mode.. BUT,, so far;;;; in "group/shuffle mode";; it hasn't.. Perhape try; Group shuffle;; but then,, if you want to shuffle through ALL da songs;; u need the Normal/shuffle;; ((why not just advance it to the next song when it DOES repeat)) i have another thing to say;; but i will "Double Post".. YES!! here i am again.. one thing i forgot to mention is:: on my observation in "Group/Shuffle Mode";; i (Razyray) was using my "Deluxe" remote controller;; the three liner;; the pearshaped one;; so,, it was easy to get between Normal and group and Artist modes wit the controller.. at my bedside;; i have the "Original" pencil/pampon shaped controller;; and one liner;; and i can't get it to go between Group and Normal modes;; especially when i am (half-asleep).. so;; i THINK you have to set the "Main Unit" to Group in that case;; which in my case;; i can't cause it's hidden in a fanny-pack;; zipped up and dust-free.. so,, i may have to just use the Hi-MD#2 with the three-liner in Group mode for now.. unless;; i switch the remotes;; which i don't want to do.. any solutions out there for me??

i stumbled accross this in my bordumn.. i usually put "shuffle" ON while my Hi-MD900 is in "Normal Mode" and if there are 500 songs in the unit;; they ALL play before shutting off.. then,, i tried putting the unit in "Group Mode" and put "Shuffle' ON.. to my amazement;; it only played the songs in the "Group" then,, shut off.. !!!! so,, i tried "Artist Mode";; and the same thing;; it played only the "artist" and shut off.. this it GREAT news for me;; since i have another Hi-MD900 at my bedside which i play while falling asleep;; only to awake a FEW hours later and the unit is STILL playing;; yeah,, it's been playing for nothing for hours while i am sleeping.. (a WASTE of the unit's life)..!! now.. i can put lets say,, 1 or 2 hours of songs in ONE "Group" and play "shuffle" and it should shut off while i am sleeping.. (saving the unit's life span).. [moral of the story] when you're bored;; PLAY with what you got.. (did yous know this)?? late edit (P.S.);; the reason i posted this is because i have been e-mailing one of our members regularly who didn't know this;; so,, i assume maybe others may not know it;; this post will self destruct in about 6 days..

i like the "first one" gee i forgeot to get the names from the downloads.. IMO,, you should add some sudden short quirky sounds to it and make it the rhythm of the track.. the sounds would be random but would keep the ppls attention to "What's next"!! maybe also;; some ppl rants;; like two pasengers on a train talking;; maybe a diabolical rant;; but un-distinguished somewhere'zz in there.. the second one;; i like from the middle on;; starting at the ambient interlude;; then,, the instrument comes in;; very good.. they are now in my Hi-MD900 for me to enjoy for da rest-of-da-day;; if it's ok..........with you!!

ok - soo - i copied Fergie's new CD (The Dutchess) from my piano student (13 yr old girl);; she said that most of the songs were "too slow".. i took her advice; came home and "Remixed" it ;sped up most of the songs;; now, the CD "Rocks" *as i dance wit the cat*. oh; i am listening to the Rayzray remix of "Fergaliscious". late edit:: and yes; i put it on my two Hi-MD900s.

I (rayzray) am gonna like this "thread"; already i am having "fun". is "YouTube" safe; that is; i will get no viruses from it; or "Mono" or something like that? i like it. gives me something to do between "remixes" and dusting the house. there are SOO MANY good videos; keep them going....

^ well,, good luck;; and also in Canada too.. i am usually always right;; but i must admit;; sometime i just guess.. right now i a pissed off that my DVD recorder wont' read the DVD+RW's i bought;; i forgot they read only DVD-RW's.. ok,, so 5 DVD recorders recording at the same time is a bit much;; but it un-pisses me off..!!

probably it's around your feet and not your fingers.. lol.. i'm pissed off at how much music i can pirate for my personal use in one week;; and no time to transfer it permanently!!

i just saw an Earbud adaptor for sale at CC that i (rayzray) invented a few years ago on the T-Board!!!! it's "MY" idea, lol.. the story of my life; i had thought up MANY things that became reality; but i guess i just wasn't meant to be rich..!!

good advice KI;; went to (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/dj/navigation?N=100001+702965) and the Gemini for $190.00 USD looks like "Fun" with the "Scratch and H2O efx etc.. you may wanna look for a mixer that you can just un-screw the "sliders" and replace them instantly cause they go fast (depends how much you DJ.. for a little more;; you can get a mixer with a "Sampler" built in;; and that is really "fun".. The VMC-004 offers 3 band isolators per channel with 100% infinity cut ;; at $300 USD with the isolators is great if you like to fade one song into the other and get rid of da bass and kick bass on one of the songs temporarily;; but;; i (rayzray) NEVER use that.. i'd rather have the EFX ..

listening to "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues;; this version i never heard;; it has an orchestral intro and ending!! i got it off the Cable Classic Rock Music channel.. it's now in my Hi-MD900's..

love Adderly;; *as i break out my Adderly MD*;; he can surely play those tunes.. thanks Blue Note for a lifetime of pleasure;; i have a cellar full of them;; well,, the ones that survived my "X" wife..!!

what kinda mixer?? well,, i (rayzray) use just a basic Radio Shack mixer with the FOUR channels; (even though each one can have two settings with a toggle switch).. and ,, i DON'T use the A/B fadder control; i just cleaverly use my fingers on the four main volume controls; that mixer goes into a 10 channel mixer on my Road Case that has a 62 band (31x31) EQ; just so i can blast da head table out of their seats.. there is a small three knob EQ system on the mixer that fine .. but; you will find yourself improving and expanding.. myself, rayzray); i like to ADD a sampler to sample ppl's voices and comments; and sometimes i bring and extra unit and play sound efx off the main mixer in the road case.. oh,, yeah; you'll want 6 or 8 lighting robots; and,, a "flame" that measures the body heat on the dance floor when you play the "Hot" slow grinders.. for some reason ; ppl NEVER forget me..!!

No, i never received you MD remix; i must be missing out in something great.. i wish you could see me latest A/V set up here; it's awesome; and i still have all my 27 MD decks/portables; some getting very tired.. it a professin al joke her as to which will die first: me (rayzray); my two cats; or my 27 MD-units ((knowcking on wood)) that it will be my 27 units.. oh,, back OT; when i did DJ wit the HiMD900's; i LOVED to "speed-up" the songs with the Pitck control; i could fit more songs in in an hour; and get the ppl tired faster and easier.. yeah; that pitch congrol is great.. oh, when i did DJ wit the Hi-MD'z i had to use a magnifying glass to see the fweakin screen; i hope this would be no problem wit the new units..

mmmm; just happened to "pop-in" here and saw this.. i DJ'd for many years with MD-Decks and everyting went flawless; editing in the decks is totally superb; as long as you have the right decks.. i tried Djing with my two Hi-MD900's and i thought it was a bit confusing compaired to the decks.. but it is "doable"..!! i would rather DJ with MD's that ipods or Mp3'ing.. my MD's sounded just about as good as my CD's when EQ'd properly; i did both.. but with my Numark/Axis9 Dj CD/Turntable; i can do a LOT of (real-time TRICKS) that the MD decks can't do; so i did BOTH. imo was GREAT; and different from all the other Dj's; and i showed off and mouthed off too; let everyone at the parties KNOW that i am different and better! why would someone want to be "the Same" as others; un-othrodox is the word.. i am not sure about Dj'ing with Laptops; don't own one, don't need one.. anywayz; yes; going "out" the "Line-outs" of the Hi-MD sounded great.. i EQ'd at the mixer; and/which can "Cue" the different tracks easily.. BUT, with my rayzray mega remixes; cueing was never an options; my songs were sooooo fweakin long, that the ppl were praying for me to stop and give them a break.. back to the MD-Decks; great for remixing.. now, Krazyivan said he remixes in Audacity; so i trust his judgement cause he saw how i did mine on MD's; and if he says Audacityy is just as good do it. yes, i had over 500 MD's (standard) to Dj with; and over 500 Cd's; and just didn't want to go into Hi-MD cause i ((DON"T TRUST SONY ANYMORE)); and opted not to use Hi-MD's. they are only for my personal use; but, OOOHHHH SO GOOODD! but, IMO; i think Hi-MD'zz wudda been GREAT!! this post will "self destruct" in 24 hours;; so read and heed..

i try very hard NOT to use my Hi-MD bling blingzz in da van/car for this very reason.. the van/car radio is fine to keep in touch with the world;; and i only use my Blingzz OUT of da truck.. i got tired or breaking chords and controllers..!! especially the fweakin "safety belt" getting tangled with my ear bud cable!!!!

Electronica music on Music Choice TV; it's sooooo fine; i really have no need to EVER buy another CD ,, ever. i just put 3 hours of this stuff on one DVD; but, for how long since they are gonna put a "chip" in ALL DVD's and DVD'R's with radio signals to "Track" each disc!!!! *or something like that*
