i think you should use your Deck from across the room; IMO; and either run a long good grade audio cable to the PC from it; or just bring it over. the scratchyness to me sounds like the volume is set wrong; sometimes you get scratchyness in digital recording with mismatched 44 & 48's; but you are doing analog. mmmm you REALLY need to be doing "line-out" to "line-in" and not headphone jacks and this and that. i use Roxio and it's fine. but; i have had proper soundcard put in my PC. you can't always go for milk and eggs at the gas station!

i (rayzray) think if you should "Sell" some "Stickers"; you know; your famous labels for the MD discs; you can raise enough money to buy 3 more! you got the best labels; but let us put them on (Rught side up) though. lol!

Gee, i listen to ALL my personal music on Hi-MD's on my two (900's) in ((Hi-LP)) and love it; and i am very critical of how my music sounds. i love to FIT 50 CD's on one hi-md disc. and most of the times; it blows my ear-drums out; PLENTY of "Bass" with my Pana ear budds and Sony Ear-buds; how much fuzz can a bud wuzz, buzz, if a bud wuzz could buzz budds.

try 0 -1 -2 -2 -1 0 like i use DJing; i (rayzray) demolish the dance floor with it! ((of course i use a 20 band PER CHANNEL EQ; but the "V" shape "Rocks" blocks the socks of the smell'' and yell if it does!

perhaps it's TIME for me (rayzray) to abandon Windows then; for two reasons. 1. i do about 90 % of my work on audio and visual. 2. i have a son-in-law that works for APPLE and can get me ANY Mac at his discount rate.! *drooling*

gee, that sucks. i guess the only cure would be the EQ settings. i wonder what my 900's are on the low end of the frequency range? they sure sound great! perhaps a big headset with good bass response like my big Sonys. well, you know you can sell it easy here; i can see the vultures just waiting for your next move!

like i said; they must be "Hard up" for money; trying to "Squeeze" money from us; JUST before abandoning XP! Yes, they are starting doing the Soney-Baloney sh*t.

i see; and i think i remember now seeing them when i bought my battery box for my 505. soooo, how do "YOU" hear anything when your ears are blocked with thes mics?! oh; i just read that it doesn't impair you hearing; but seems to me; anything in front of the ear canal will deflect some sound. this must be more a "Stealth" matter than i common sense matter. it seems that if you move the muscles in you head/face; it will make noise in the recording; and that's not even if you turn your head and pull the chord. it's really cute to see all these imaginative items; perhaps they "DO" work!

perhaps the problem is with the "source" of the music; or should i say "after-source"; once you un-virginize music; it sucks no matter hhat you do. i think all this "file" shifting is crap. late edit]] although if you think your Sharp makes it sound better; then go with the Sharp; the "Ears" are the unlimate judge; since God hears no music.

i've been using TWO GP gumsicks forever now; and charge them ONLY in the GP Charger; (because it's convienient for me). i never have any problem (yet); love them; and ,, combined with the "AA" they last soooooooooo swekin long; they are like a bunch of Ever-readies but lay flatt like a corpse in a casket. (they are both 1400's).
