love ABBA;; some of my BEST re-mixes are abba remixes;; and the one da ppl like da best when i DJ is the extended version of "Dancing Queen" INTO and extended version of "Staying Alive" (travolta);; it lasts forever;; and no one can resist not dancing to it.. oh,, i'm listening to my audio re-mix of the audio from Pink Floyd's new double DVD.. i like disc one bettah!! (knock knock.. WHO'S THERE?? no,, Pink Floyd..
-
i use 80 ONLY for capturing music/audio off the music channels on Cable (Digitally).. IMO the 80 min discs are worth sh*t.. i use them for editing but NOT to go out and DJ with.. like,, i have more problems with the 80 min unzz.. so,, i only DJ (DJ'd,, yes i did retire) with 74 min MD discs;; they are much more reliable IMO..

Pink Floyd's new DVD with those two eyeballs on da cover. or are they grapes?

exactly; i have the same thoughts almost nightly; and i think we are on the same wavelegnth. i have the same urge to add tanks in the car and van for long trips; why stop; just keep driving. seeing these pics; i have had many ideas travel through my head. tubes and tanks to take in and send out liquids. i just hope the TUBES coming and going don't get mixed up!! and; while i am at it; i need a Hi-MD unit installed in all this tubular gear that i can listen to that cancells my wife's car radio off/out; but, still can hear her talk and ask me questions. eveytime she asks a question; i have to take the bud out and say "what"? a series of "Tubes and Wires and Tanks would be a great project; EXCEPT when i get stopped and SHOT for looking like a terrorist with all this gear in the car/van. oh, to be OT, my van is an official work area; i have all the gear necessary to record, play; A/V via MD's, Hi-MD's; DVD's CD's (both record and play), cassettes, and, even a turntable for ppl that haven't heard of technology.

That has got to be the coolest fridge i have ever seen; now, maybe some speakers too,, and a neat MD-HiMD control panel on it. i am gonna show this pic to my wife and see if she will let me install some beverage spouts like that; like, beer, wine, and coolaid; (i have 14 crandchilden). coolaid for them,, beer for me; and wine for my wife. ((me wife said a DEFINATE "NO"!!))
-
nice label; doesn't the fridge motor interfere with your audio stuff; recording and all that? i had to have a separate AC line put in and filtered. my cousin brews beer; BIG time; it takes his whole garage. you are allowed to brew just soooo much of da stuff; and wine too. (or, do i have that back-wards). so, exactly what room is you set-up in?

i (rayzray) is, (am), was, well i was down-sizing; trying to claim realestate back so i could at least rotate on my Computer chair. Rotate is very important when you are my age. but, then i start to watch my rock DVD's and listen to my Tull Fan trades and get lost in the mess about me. one more DJ job left before retirement and then i can finish something here and maybe post a new shot of my (rayzray)'s studio/room with me (rayzray) skateboarding in da middle of my realestate.!!

i am listening to a version of Aerosmith's DVD, Fifa Concert(s)-Japan 2002; well, my NEW re-make of it. the Stereo separation ss great!
-
listening to a bootleg version of Tommy-Live by The Who; it is brilliantly "raw" and primative; like me (rayzray); i can't believe how BAD they can be at times. *two more DJ jobs left; then i take a sledgehammer to all my equipment!!*

happy birthday, atrain, a lot of blings for the zing.! my wife would LOVE to have a grey's anatomy S1 dvd set;; thanks for remindind me that they ARE available. (i am still getting bling bling money from my past birthday; i bleed it as long as i can get it. and, enjoy you retro-casios; lol, i probably have some hanging around from the "real days"!! < (oops, a double punk)!
-
listening to Greatful Dead DVD's; Rush - Replay x3 DVD's next; then Prince - 3121 in Hi-MD900 for beddibye!
-
yes, it's great! i recorded Prince on Good Morning America on DVD and he sang "lolita" and "Satisfied" and convinced me that i should buy it right away! He is sounding more "Funk-a-delic" like George Clinton and Parliament; and right now i am listening to 3121 also; what a coincident; and, i am getting in the mood to re-mix this CD and hook all the funk together; expecially 3121 and Get on the Boat.
-
Hi atrain, by "classic" DVD, or just classic;; (oops, it's hard not to double punctuate); i mean 70's and 80's rock music; i guess. it's what i have been buying up lately; like, a LOT of it; and also trading with TullFan, my buddy from Va. here's the latest i have bought; including today's; lol (non-classic). Black Sabbath - Paris 1970 (DVD) Greatful Dead - Dead ahead (DVD) AC/DC - Family Jewels (DVD) Prince - The Hits Collection (DVD) Pink Floyd - London 1966/1967 (DVD) Rush - Replay X 3 (DVD) (just got it today) Red Hot Chilli Peppers - stadium arcadium (CD) Prince - 3121 (CD) *want the DVD IF it comes out* so,, this is all in about two weeks time; and just got two more gift certificates today; whick means i am gonna go out tomorrow and get more Greatful Dead and whatever. this keeps me "YOUNG"; i will never grow old; as even though i retired from DJ'ing; i still listen to Rap, Hip-Hop; Electronica, Arena Rock, New Age, Jazz, Soft jazz, AND play along with a lot of these songs on my 88 key Yamaha electric piano. yes, RAP; when it's done well; i (Rayzray) can see the talent in it, where most ppl my age can't stand it. that's why THEY grow old; and i grow YOUNG, and, "out of control" as my wife and my "X's" tells me.

been buying one or two classic rock DVD's per week; the names don't matter, after a while they all sound the same!

thanks guys;; i have been reading all the posts i was subscribed to; through my Hotmail e-mail account;; soo i am not really gone.. i was spooked by the Russian INVADERS; and decided to augment my retirement depression with an hiheena from the board.. ?? opps;; (no double punks)! i have been buying a LOT of Music DVD's and watching them; and i have become a "couch potato" while watching VH1-Classic; and recording as much of it as i can on my 5 DVD recorders. yes; i may be the first person in history to own 27 DVD Recorders; they have been my anti-depression pills for a while; lol.! i have met one of the T-Board members in person; and have been recording his son's band a bit with my Hi-MD900. he has a shprp unit, but, now i have convinced hime to buy the new MZ-RH1 (sp). and told him he should join this forum. i have joined a few minor forums on Rock&Roll just to do my "Double Punctuations" and to practice beind a worldwide a**hole; i am doing ok at it. well, not really! my only contact with youzz is through TullFan from T-Board and MDCF who keeps in contact with me a lot; we do a lot of projects together and trade. (i think she has uncovered the real me; but that's only personality #4. when i am over my depression; i will probably start posting again; i miss it and miss youzz; but but as my wife says; "Get off your ass, and do sonething"; i hate it when she takes my "Clicker" away from me! i am almost leading a normal life now; which i can't stand; i wven mow the lawn regularly. but i yearn for my other 6 personalities and to "Double Punctuate"; even my piano students are concerned about my personality change. they want the "Jerk" back! so; i go on reading to my subscribed threads from your forum; (like "what are you listing to" and "What have you bought" etc); and when i think it's safe to return from the Russian invation; and i can learn how to watch TV on my belly and not my ass; i will return. (where's that fweakin" clicker!) as for my Birthday; turning 63 is not fun; so i think of it as turning 13 or maybe 7; it makes it funner and i can go on for another year! so bye for now; chow; and zzowee! *as i end my rant in a "Double Punk" !!

how do i know you are Jackclaw; or a Russian; what's the pass word?
-
thanks ,Nismo; been a long time; huh? how's your boy; must be getting big. i swear i see him all over RI on the "Billboards" promoting some education thing; looks just like him. i will start using "View New Posts" again; then; Ben.
-
are we going to be able to use "view New posts" later; or, is this a permanet thing? i do have Firefox (i think); soooo , that means i am safe? (my piano students instaall all this bling bling; i just sing sing).
-
i'll be watching for Russians and Tornadoes here in RI. RI is Sooooo small that we get one tornado every 20 years (i've see two little ones; and actually tried to chase the last one with the new/old 69 THunderbird. soooo, we had a Russian on the member list for a while? *concerned a little but not worried too much*

are there ANY portable units out there with a limiter? i don't think so. wouldn't you use that in the studio afterwards in real time editing? it's been a long time for me; but i think you can't go wrong with the RH1. it very very high on my "candy list"!
-
4th photo down looks like Providence RI; looks like Bishop Geleneu (SP) and i see a T-Board member in there (not me)! he doesn't have his MD on him! i was gonna go; but i had to stay home and protect my property from the immigrants up the street!
-
stuge; i LOVE to "correct" DJ Tiesto's mixes and re-mixes; i call it re-fixes! right now i am listening to my DVD Recorder taking in Electronica music in stereo to a DVD'R AND a Yamaha MD DEck simultaineously (sp)!

this is exactly like DJ'ing a wedding! no matter how good the song you play is; or the request is; a lot of the ppl ain't gonna like it! you can't please most of the ppl most of the time; and only a few; few of the times?! unles you have options; concider yourself a disgruntled DJ!
