A Beautiful Revelation -- the Epic MZ-RH1 Arrives
ATELETRONICS replied to Christopher's topic in News
awesome we can upload sp recordings and mdlp! can i say it again... awesome. i have to have one!!!! i have 200 old sp disks. hey sony if you listening all we need now is a home deck and a car deck. and hi-md and regular md will live forever!!! i cant wait to get one! sony thank you so much. md is great. -
YOU COULD TRY TO OPEN THE SHUTTER AND SEE IF THE DISK IS DIRTY...
-
what a difference! i had never used it because it really suck and still does but . tou can actually listen to it for a lot longer than you could before. a lot of the distorton is gon. the hi end is cut odd and the stereo seperation seems much better. you have to give it a try just to hear it. i was so surpriesd! i had been using ss.2.3 which was better than the old open mg that came with my unit. its still not good for constant listening.

use the decks analog out not the portable.. it will sound better. if you buy a med md model you can use hi-md rendered to add drac marks while recording.

After High speed CD==> MD (SP) how to add track info
ATELETRONICS replied to 1kyle's topic in Minidisc
do the 2x cd copying decks really copy digitally? i thought i read somewhere they were done in analog? -
i think in the us the 80 min disks are about slightly under $2
-
Why are SP MD decks better then HiMD portables?
ATELETRONICS replied to Sparky191's topic in Minidisc
yes i am using the same equipment... i was just listening to something copied to my old md at old sp292 from 320 mp3.... what a difference if the source was from the cd. i can even tell the difference easily with my crappy portable output. the sp straight from cd sounds almost perfect... -

i think the portables usually have weak outputs that have too much distortion. -

i can easily tell the difference between a decks output and a portable. the poratble sounds like crap when hooked up to a hi-fi. -
that really sucks if you cant even burn an audio cd. you could always use the total recorder method. or just use the line in on the md recorder and make an alalog copy. they you can upload and do whatever you want with the songs after their converted to wave files. record the songs from the computer in pcm.
-
JUST BURN AN AUDIO CD. THEN USE SIMPLE BURNER AT HI-SP 256K AND YOU WONT NOTICE MUCH OF ANY DIFFERENCE. IT WILL SOUND ALMOST THE SAME BUT THERE WILL BE SOME LOSSES.

I HAVE A GREAT IDEA..... give 50 free downloads from connect! and a discounted coupon for 50 more that way people would have some experence from sonys connect store and would have hopefully downloaded 100 songs legally. this would promote hi-md and the connect store all on 1 pop. if people looked at the retail price for downloaded songs they would realize they got 100 songs very very cheap while at the same time. whey would get used to hi-md. tehy would tell their friends and soon lost of people would know!!!!
-
if we all beg and beg some more. give us a real hi-md deck before iyts too late thay will do it. so everyone keep the pressure on them every day!!!

it was purchased in New York city.2 years or maybe a little longer ago. i thought it was a euorpean model because the volume is very low and doesnt increase much past the setting of 24/30.
-
that really stinks. someone must know or maybe someone could figure it out? anyone have any ideas??? does it say anything in the service manual?
-
someone pleace tell me a way to increase the volume on an mz-n510? tell me i can make it louder...
-
yep, most of what you said make no sense at all...
-
i think for a natural sound analog amps sound better. they just use the batteries faster... doesnt atrac lossless count???
-
md is awesome and i will never stop using it even if its not supported anymore.
-
you can get around the track protect by copying the song using simple burner. then just edit the end of the track.
-
DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANY HACKS OR COOL TRICKS THAT CAN BE DONE WITH THE MZ-N510?
-
just guessing
-
did you check the write protect tab on the disk?
-
the n707's have a problem where the record ribbon cable on the record head cracks and then rndonly erases disks. i'm sure the unit you want to buy is ok but its too expensive. i believe all of it is only worth $50. the unit will break later. mine only lasted 2 years under heavy use.
