Sounds like they have taken the best features of the NH1 (its size, build quality etc) and the best feature of the RH10 (EL organic display) and combined them. Well it sure gets my vote!

Top of the range does not always guarantee it wont be volume capped, my N910 is very volume limited. But yes it may be true that the NH1 does not need to be hacked

Wow thats useful, more so for normal MD. I have an optical out on my standard laptop soundcard, but it doesnt title the tracks. I guess I could use sonicstage for labelling though.

Yup remove the power from the unit then when you re insert the power source it will become unlocked. Do this sooner rather than later to prevent any damage to the unit. It is most likely there is a error on the disc meaning it will not record over it

With a properly tweaked EQ and some high quality vbr mp3's (preset standard, or extreme), the RH10 is capable of some good sounding playback in my opinion. True it sounds slightly "duller" than the Atrac version, but this is not necessarily a bad thing, depends on the type of music your listening to.

danielbb90 is right, sonicstage wont fuction properly unless your logged in as an administrator.(who knows why!, mabye to stop filesharing on public computers) However you must have been logged in as an administrator in order to be able to install it in the first place.

Sonicstage reads my "enhanced cds" fine, although I have to hold shift to stop the annoying videos and menus appearing! Do you have more than one cd drive victorhooi? if so does sonicstage not read the cds on both of them?

Use the connect store a lot then? Im not going to until it offers HI SP downloads (or better)

I've experienced a similar problem with a few normal minidscs. It tends to occur around the 60-70min mark on the underside of the disc in a small circular ring. I put it down to bad storage of my minidiscs, however it is odd how it always occurs in roughtly the same place on the disc (for me anyway). 2 of the discs this has occurred on has resulted in a inability to rewrite the discs at these sectors.
