rayzray Posted July 21, 2007 Report Share Posted July 21, 2007 (edited) i am listening to R&B Classic;; as i am recording on a DVD-RAMs and also recording R&B Hits on another DVD recorder;; to play at my daughter's party today.. i will play them on my Portable DVD playa (DVD-RAM,s) discs;; 4 hours each;; that should be enough..i took a celebrium from listening to my Hi-MD units this week;;yes,, NO MD,s for the whole week!! just to prove that i can do it..when i am out alone ;; i listen to da radio or hum some imrovs to myself;; some of my "hummms" are better than this sh*t they play on da radio (Goo Goo)..!! rayzray Posted July 27, 2007 Report Share Posted July 27, 2007 (edited) i am listening to my NEW (Kick-A**) Backpack;; filled with funestical fun..right now i am listening to my old Sony 505 portable md playa;; with ear buds given to my by a T-Board member/friend..optional,, though would be a Sony headset.. the song doesn't matter cause the mood is great!!AND;; i am SWITHING to listening to my PORTABLE DVD player in which i will listen to my daily music catch of DVD_RAMS;; 4 hours each.. perhaps a few good songs for to keep for DJ'ing (oh,, i retired)..well i collect songs like ppl collect things;; like MD members collect MD stuff..backpack substitutes as a teaching unit;; when;;;; i plug the earbud AND the head set into my Sony RK-G23 connecting unit;; in which both me and my student can listen to a song (DIVIDED of course into parts);; as we play on the keyboard/piano..ok,, soo,, i CAN tilt the backpack while we do our lesson and as WE "Listen" to our song;; i can be watching ANY DVD on the DVD player with out my student noticing.. perhaps Benny King;; or Family Guy..why does teaching have to be boring;; why not make it into a (Rayzray Listening/watching Party)..!! rayzray Posted August 9, 2007 Report Share Posted August 9, 2007 (edited) i am listening to an OLD Einolu Mix CD on my Sony MXD-D40;; out the optical into my M_Audio Co2 (long cable) ;; out the coaxal ;; across the room to PC#1;; into Roxio Simple Burner;; out PC#1 analogue;; back across the room into PC#3;s Rxsio Easy Recorder; ; out the PC#3 analogue out to my Patch board;; into AMp #1;; and it sounds very clear to me..late edit]] basically i am using PC#3 as a monitor just to HEAR the results i am recording on PC#1.. rayzray Posted August 10, 2007 Report Share Posted August 10, 2007 i am listening to my morning catch of videos from VH1 classic;; got some great ones;; expecially a version of "Another Brick on the Wall" that i have never seen;; it must be a long theatrical version or something.. it was worth waking up this morning!!oh,, by the way;; even though i catch most of my nusic on DVD's now;; youzz know that i have my Yamaha Deck attached to my TV and can catch just the music also at the same time for a "Quickie" listen on my Portable MD/Hi-MD's if it's my pleasure..oh,, and i have over 3,800 CD's logged into my PC;; and last weekend i gave one of my piano students $100 to organize them with a friend;; she chould split the money any way she wanted..she came in TWO nights for 3 hours each and organized them;; AND i set up a DJ station for them to "Listen" to any of my CD'ss;; how was i supposed to know that they "Danced" while they worked!!!!Now i can find most anything i have within minutes instead of two days!!!! rayzray Posted August 10, 2007 Report Share Posted August 10, 2007 (edited) Oh Dude....It should have been a nightmare for them to re-organize your collection !i tried to tell them HOW to do it:: they said they will do it "Their way";; which turned out fine..i was upstairs the first night and it sounded like a "Party" down there with my bigg azzed boom box blareing;;i bought them two pounds of chocolates and a bag of gummy bears (each night);; and they wanted just bottles water;; i say it was a great deal for all concerned..i have more CD to sort out but i have to get them in their right sleeves and logg them into my PC first..next,, they will sort out my "cassettes" and then my Vinyl Lps next;; which will have to include the serial nos,, i guess..right now i am listening to my remixes of Rush-Rushed aka rayRushed or RzyMixed;; depends on which version i pick!!late edit;; oh,, 1000 of the 3,800 CD were already organized with my DJ'in rig in da garage along with my 500 standard MD's that go out on a DJ job..
