Can you explain how to do this service mode hack to record in SP? Link maybe?

How are you doing that? I changed the disc mode to MD and tried to change the recording mode to SP, but I keep getting an error. It won't go into SP recording mode. Only Hi-SP, Hi-LP and PCM.

I just bought my friend's RH10 for $200. Comes with everything except the AC wall charger that he can't find.

No, not completely. I have my DN430, M200 and RH1. I may buy the RH10 of my friend. He really does not want to keep it.

Setting the equalizers on both units to: +3, 0, -1, 0, +1, +3, both units produce almost the same identical playback sound quality. Used some other Sony earphones and got a pretty good thumping bass response from both units. My friend really has no interest in keeping his RH10, I might just buy it off him.

Thanks for your help, but we finally got it to charge with the USB cable. For some reason it wouldn't charge with his usb cable, so we switched cables and now it's charging. I couldn't remember if the RH10 could get charged through USB, so we thought that was the problem and that's why we needed the AC wall charger. But it's charging now, just takes longer to charge. His RH10 looks like new, will try to convince him to sell it. He bought an iPod Touch and hasn't looked back.

Depends on the shipping cost. That's an online store, not a department store.

It doesn't matter if it's universal or original Sony charger. It just needs to charge the RH10. I'm not paying ridiculous overpriced department electronics store prices.

My friend misplaced his RH10 AC wall charger. Anyone got a spare to sell? He's gonna be looking for it this weekend, but just incase he doesn't find, I'd like to know who's willing to sell theirs. Or do they sell these chargers elsewhere? Didn't see any on ebay.

If you go on the ebay forums, you'll see lost of complaints from sellers about unethical buyers who do lie their a$$ off to get something for free, such as falsely claiming never recieving the product, the product was damaged, it wasn't in the condition described, so on. So paying extra for insurance or delivery confirmation, is actually to protect the person sending the product, not the person recieving it.

Just curious, for those of you who live outside the U.S., how reliable is your country's mail service? I've shipped stuff to Canada, Ecuador and even BoBt in Cayman Islands, but never to the U.K., Europe or Asia. I'm always afraid that someone in these other countries will open up the packages and steal whatever they can (which is what happened when I shipped some MJ cassettes to Ecuador) several years ago.

My understanding is that if you buy a brand new MD, open it up and try to use it but does not work, then you're covered under warranty. The same if you buy a brand new MD, don't use it for 1 year or so, and then it ends up not working, you're probably covered as well.

That's about $5 per disc, that's a very good price. Good luck with your sale, I already have plenty of Hi-MD discs.

I had an MZ-RH1 fall on my laps. Great condition and works great. Comes complete with everything you see in the pictures. The display screen has swirl marks from wiping and cleaning, not noticeable on some angles. Shipping to the U.S., Canada, U.K. and BobT of course. Haven't decided on an asking price, so please PM with offers. Shipping out side the U.S. is always more expensive, so keep that in mind.

I totally agree on the music quality of Invincible. It is one of his best albums, unfortuny Thriller, Bad and Dangerous have gotten more attention since his death. Invincilble was his last full studio album and it should recieve more recognition than it has. Songs like: You rock my world, Butterflies, Hearbreaker, Cry, and 2000 watts are abreath of fresh air compared to the hip hop and alternative rock garbage radio stations play today. Pink who???......whatever.
