DRM free AAC files are supported in the latest version of SS but they will have to be converted to Atrac / WAV to be transferred to Hi-MD.

I think the issue could be related to some kind of driver or possibly hardware issue. Sonic Stage 4.3 works fine with all my MD units on my Vista Business laptop. Admittedly they are all Hi-MD and not NetMD. What you could do is try and trap the error using Process Monitor to see what files / reg keys are being accessed. If you are getting a blue screen what is the exact error message?

Ordered the extended battery for my Vaio TZ:

It is also worth noting the search commands listed in the advanced usage help (click on the link under the "Search By Keywords" field) as they often produce more specific results. I often use the +word1 +word2 combination.

I did use this seller ral_melb once to purchase a black RM-MC55ELK. The product was genuine and brand new, but came in the usual plain brown box (with proper labelling) that items from the Sony spares center come in. This was about six months ago. If I recall correctly the shipping took about a week from mainland China to Europe. Unfortunately the MR100 doesn't have a USB connection so you will have to do it real-time or upgrade to the MZ-RH1 which is the only unit so far that can upload legacy (non-Hi-MD) MD recordings. * Moved to relevant sub-section

Possibly.. But for simple questions like does DSEE relate to playback or ripping, it does the trick.
