  1. Happy Birthday Daniel! - Have a great day
  2. Some good points Doc - I'm definitely with you on the "watch" folders as this is something I would really use too. I think Connect Player 1.x started down this road with something similar, but I can't remember exactly how effective it was. Total library size would also be very useful I agree.
  3. I would recommend pricejapan - they accept Paypal credit card payments and will ship to most places. They will also probably work out a bit cheaper than places like Audiocubes. You may want to check out this thread also for some further info (especially the posts by Garcou as he actually owns one): http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=16490
  4. Ok, can we try and keep cool and if you want to take the handbags further then I suggest PM would be the appropriate medium to do so. Thank you
  5. Indeed - but for the now I will have to make do with the workarounds
  6. As far as I am aware the lcd on the NH600D will not display Japanese characters (it may display katakana if you are lucky but that's about it), but assuming you transferred the tracks to the disc running SS though Applocale they will show up ok if you plug in a Kanji-capable remote - eg RM-MC35ELK, RM-MC40ELK, 55ELK etc..
  7. I may be wrong but I think Hi-MD Renderer or some other audio editing software is what you will need as this is not something that Sonic Stage can do. * Moved to software discussion
  8. Hi there, you may want to look at: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=14912 and if applicable here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=14222
  9. If you are using the RH1 the higher transfer speeds should be available with the "special" version of 3.4 that shipped with the RH1 that contains the new drivers (not with the standard 3.4) and with 4.0. BSOD = Blue Screen Of Death - a common name for those annoying "Stop" errors that crash the OS in Windows.
  10. Good job! Glad it's working for you - I was looking into this the other day, and local policies was one thing that crossed my mind, but I didn't bother to check the MS knowledge base.. Nice work and thanks for updating us

  12. As far as I am aware yes, I only started getting these issues after upgrading to 4.0. But I haven't yet downgraded to 3.4 to double-check though.
  13. I believe it's the same person Stuge..
  14. Ok - hope you don't mind, but I think this mega-thread has run it's course. Now that the RH1 is out there in the market (for those that can find it) if we have specific questions relating to the RH1 can we post them in the relevant sections as it is easier to track for all - cheers.
  15. * Moving to Hi-/MD Evaluations + Criticisms
  16. See here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=14814 for starters. * Moved to Find Your Minidisc
  17. You will have to use Sony Software (Sonic Stage / Simple Burner) to transfer to an MD unit. * Moved to software discussion
  18. Hi - Can you provide some more info on your system setup / version of Sonic Stage / error messages etc.. as per the FAQ's above in pink. Thanks * Moved to Software Discussion
  19. * Moved to NetMD / MDLP
  20. I don't know - I don't think it is anything to do with the connection type as 1) Hi-MD only uses USB 1.1 anyway and 2) the titles show up fine when the disc is inserted into a Sony MD Walkman. I think something has changed in the character set used or something in the SS software...
  21. Ouch - That sucks big-time Chris....
  22. Happy Brithday to Greg (The Rotter) - have a great day!
  23. I'll see what I can do. I got the black version. (The ones that died on me were white though)...
