  1. Indeed as Volta says check out the downloads section for the stand-alone Simple Burner Installer. Welcome to MDCF.
  2. I'm inclined to think "technical" problem in this case means logistical problem in getting the stock out and / or supply problem in meeting demand.
  3. It is interesting - I use Daemon Tools a lot and have at least one virtual CD drive enabled at all times. I have also had Alcohol 120% installed and have yet to run into problems with drive recognition in SS for ripping or Burning of Audio CD's. I guess it's all Nero or Roxio's fault then.
  4. Happy B-Day J - have a fantastic day
  5. Listening to Monolake | Momentum in Atrac3+ 352k CernLinearAtomium White_II TetrisExcentricReminiscenceStratosphere (Edit)Credit
  6. Sorry just to clarify - what exactly is the question: You want to know if you can play Atrac3+ on your PDA? Or you want to know which software program is best to transfer music to your PDA? Or you want to know which transfer program is best for all your devices including Minidisc? * Moved to Software Discussion section
  7. I'm sorry to say it, but the answer is still no. All music to Sony Flash players has to go via Sonic Stage or Connect or in some cases MP3 File Manager. All music to Hi-MD devices has to go via Sonic Stage or Simple Burner. You can't transfer music from one device to another directly as the connection capability doesn't exist. You could upload Atrac3+ tracks only into Sonic Stage from a Hi-MD then download on to a flash player but that's about it. You still have to go through the computer.
  8. This is correct. In addition I believe they are also listed in the new features description for 4.0 for whatever reason, but only in relation to ripping from CD not as far as transfer to Hi-MD devices is concerned.
  9. Indeed - shocking news - hope you guys and your families are ok over there. Any news as to who was behind these attacks?
  10. Nice acquistion * Thread moved to Reviews / Pictorials section
  11. As far as I can make out this thread is going nowhere fast. * Moved to Find Your Minidisc section and closed. (if anyone can convince me why this should stay open PM me or another member of the moderating team).
  12. Just bought: a black RM-MC55ELK for my DH10P Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for the PSP.
  13. Quick and simple, just had some freshly made Spaghetti Carbonara (egg, parmesan & pancetta).
  14. It's not 100% clear from the thread title what the issue is. Perhaps you could elaborate further as to what issues you are having, since when etc... I can't tell if you are referring to a hardware issue or if it is after downloading songs with the software? * Thread moved for now to "MD, NetMD + MDLP" section
  15. I'm not sure if this was related to an IE exploit specifically or more a general Windows loophole that could be exploited in combination with the board software. I personally use Firefox most of the time and it seems the last couple of times this has occurred Firefox users have fared a bit better. For what it is worth I did some testing with IE7 Beta 3 yesterday and it didn't let anything through on the client side.
  16. Glad to hear it is ok - you can of course limit the space used by System Restore (System Restore tab of "My Computer" properties). The more you reduce it, the less restore points it can save. You can also use the disk cleanup tool in accesories to remove all restore points except the most recent: [attachmentid=1836]
  17. Did you actually stop the device using "Safely Remove Hardware" or by pressing the stop button on the unit before disconnecting the USB? * Thread moved to "Software Discussion" section.
  18. I'm also wondering whether System Restore has created multiple restore points on the same day for each time you installed (3 was it?) SS.
  19. Also when installing apps, quite often a lot stuff gets left over in the "temp" directory. Close down all apps and have a look in: c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\temp You may need to change the option to view hidden folders or just run it from the commnd line. I generally delete as much stuff as I can out of there.
  20. Definitely deserving - I'm glad Germany won this match
  21. Ok, I wasn't sure if you had seen that or not. Quite a few people on the board now have the RH1, so I'm sure we'll have some feedback soon - or if not you could try sending a PM to one of them to try and get their thoughts.
  22. Marck from MDCenter.nl did some testing earlier this year - the results can be found in his review here: http://www.mdcenter.nl/artikelen/mzrh1/index_en.php SP => PCM should be quite a bit quicker than SP to Hi-SP. Maybe some of the people here who have recently acquired this unit can give some updates.
  23. I think you should be ok. I couldn't find anything on my system. The spybot ones could just have been tracking cookies from other sites. Spybot is pretty efficient if you keep it updated reguarly.
  24. Sounds good stuge - I always get the impression Indian wedings are pretty epic
