You could always get some Sony NC11A noise-cancelling phones. These are both in-ear phones and noise cancelling. I'm not sure how effective they are against noisy neighbours but I have used them to great effect on planes and trains. They also sound not bad with the NC off and have a freq response of 10-22000hz. The Japanese model can be bought on ebay for around $65 USD (link) plus shipping or you can get them from SonyStyle in North America I think.

John I have merged this with the topic you started on the exact same subject in June.

I think that's the old single press / long press thing. Same as the jog dial being labelled Navi / Menu. There is also a kind of small dot and a long dash next to the labels. If you press the Display button once it cycles through the display. If you hold it in, it just puts on the backlight without changing the display. Likewise you have to hold the jog dial in to get to the menu.

I believe the only way would be if you had a soundcard with an optical out which you could connect to the optical in on the R55. In this case you would need an optical cable probably of the type Toslink to Optical-Mini connection. Alternatively it could be possible to connect the headphone out of the soundcard to the line-in of the R55, but the quality would ceratainly not be as good.

Does SS startup without AppLocale ok? If not then as A440 suggested, try disabling skins software and if that fails try searching for the threads relating to Nvidia conflicts. If SS does work ok on its own and fails exclusively under AppLocale report back and we'll take it from there. Thanks.

There's not really much else I can say here, suffice to add my support to what has already been said. Regarding the original classified thread, like Adrian I kept an eye on it and whilst potentially the situation could have boiled over, Jaylen had raised some very valid concerns which I thought merited keeping the discussion going for a while to see how it all panned out. You know we have 44000 members here (give or take a couple of thousand spammers) and it's quite a tightrope walk to keep everybody 100% happy 100% of the time. Like Adrian says everyone here is welcome regardless of what they think and whatever axe they have to grind. But maybe, if there's something you really don't like about the forum, let us know - we can only go so far to change it unless you help us out with a bit of constructive criticism and go from being non-active to active. This is a forum and discussion is encouraged. What's more we're not impossible to talk to you know...

Just picked up Lego Star Wars II - The Original Trilogy for the PSP. First impressions are very good, nice graphics and gameplay and seems to have a lot more staying power than SW Battlefront II on the same platform.

The JE RH1 should come with an ac adaptor that has 100-240V input so you should just need a plug adaptor.
