There was indeed some discussion on this as far as possible hardware mods to the euro models goes - I'll have to see if I can find the links. The NH900 also has the HD Amp incidentally and the 2nd gen DH10P also (unlike the rest of the 2nd gen). Sorry to nitpick. My NH900 Euro version is uncapped, but still sounds very muddy compared to any other HD Amp player I have - I don't know if this is due to hardware or the fact that all my other HD Amp units are Li-Ion battery powered vs. the Ni-Mh of the NH900.

Nice - disc 1 of 18 - that should keep you busy for a while.
-
That's great Thanks for sharing your photos and congrats on the new unit.

Some nice pics Stuge, thanks .

I thought we already established the US adaptor is 110V? I can't think of any reason why a US retailer selling the US model would include anything else unfortunately.

Connections on the 105-FX Deck: [attachmentid=1638] Connections on the MD-133 Deck: [attachmentid=1639]

You should have no problems with the actual connections to other components, you will need a step-down voltage transformer though as the input voltage is 100V on all the Onkyo products and the voltage in the UK is 240V. If you want I can check the exact connections on these decks by looking at the manuals.

Sony Hi-MD Walkman MZ-RH1 Pictorial
Richard replied to Ishiyoshi's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
Well the first 3 I think we already confirmed in Marck's review at MDCenter.nl, but I guess if you want re-confirmation that nothing has changed between the preview and retail models, Ishii is the man to ask -

I think Ishii said the charging stand in the photos is from his R910 and not unfortunately supplied with the RH1. -

Excellent pictures as always Ishii - worth the wait As Ishii says the USB charge will not likely work with the NH1 becuase this doesn't have a standard USB connector - the RH10 does but requires a different voltage input for the Ni-MH battery. -
No not as such - the RM-MC38EL / 35ELK has a clip that can be detached and turned in the other direction, but it does not swivel like the 40ELK.
-
As far as I am aware there is no car charger for this unit and no wall charger either for the LIP-4WM batteries. Congrats on the new unit.
-
At the moment about 400 of those are guests.. What's the big attraction..??
-
The RH10 does indeed have a 3V adaptor as it is powered by a different type of battery. (Nimh vs. the Li-ion the DH10P).
-
Well, if you're that desperate and whilst we wait for the official pictorial from Ishii - here are a couple more pics (for a v. limited time only - because I don't want to steal his thunder): http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?act=m...album&album=238

ok as I thought - but the current version is called Hi-MD music transfer for Mac 1.0 or not?
-
Have you tested the Mac software to see if this version allows the proposed download of MP3 to Hi-MD natively from Mac or if this is not yet implemented and will be in the version out in summer.
-
Actually I think you're right, in which case it really was a late night for him.. - I'm confused myself now..
-
Yeh, but according to his profile he's 6 hrs behind you so it would have been 11:25pm when he posted that.

Nice find - is the remote colored to match the unit? -
Off- topic but... I checked out your blog and the associated photos - nice. Personally I quite like flickr.

Looked like a very quick upgrade (not much downtime) - good job

The 55 or the 35? Where did you buy the unit out of curiosity? -
CDDB Update Patch: A Solution for Non-Working CDDB in MD Simple Burner
Richard replied to plugged in's topic in Software
Try re-installing Simple Burner only (without re-installing SS) - via the link in the downloads. If it still doesn't work uninstall Winamp then re-install Simple Burner and if it then works you know Winamp was the problem.
