Is it possible that you are behind a firewall and you haven't allowed an open port?
-
It's do-able, but none of the programs mentioned above are consumers orientated.
-
This isn't anything new We have a dedicated thread for GYM. Am I missing something?
-
Lets cover the basics: - What are your system specs? - What have you done to troubleshoot & solve? - Is your ASPI drivers up to date? (probably irrelevant) - How long ago did you purchase your unit? (think about exchange) - Have you tried using a different model as a comparrison? Some other questions: - Why not just encode then upload as MP3 ? (I know quality is alittle less, but not too noticable on ears) - FOR EVERYONE WHO SAYS THEY DONT HAVE PROBLEMS, are you all using the same model as OneMoreSolo, the HD3 ?
-
What are you computer specs? I've always heard stories of Connect and it's problems. Thankful for me I never utilized that function.
-
When you have 250 albums and you have organized 250 pics of the album covers to match only to find out that the pics are not oranganized by name . . . yeah it makes it a little ridiculous to sort doesn't it Thanks Ishi, I took a quick read and I am still alittle confused. I have a a theory though and I am gonna try it out. Hopefully it will work. PS - Have you had a chance to upload the skins ?
-
muahhahahahahah, i stumped you all.

Sell out! PS - interested in buying my ipod mini blue ? PSS - not mine, but found ....so I didn't sell out
-
It would be of the best interest for Sony to have had a backup plan well in advance....like 6 months after the release of CONNECT with negative feedback. It's quite obvious that they did not and the because of the stall, I think it really hurt them....and they must know this...hopefully they do. Western Tech companies have alway been on the edge of innovation while Eastern Tech companies, partiularly Japan, have been more on the side of effeciency. What do I mean by that? I mean that the western idea holds the essence of "big money spending, faster rewards & profits". While eastern philosophy, KAIZEN, holds "slow and steady improvements wins the race." That's why US companies such as M$ & Apple have been reaping the the profits and taking up market share. (sorry to get all business like here ) I actually work for a Japanese company and have read a a couple books on business practices and the KAIZEN model. I must say it a is a very interesting model. Anyways that is my 2 cents PS - I read this link a couple days ago relevant to our discussion. http://apple.slashdot.org/apple/06/02/24/2044255.shtml

Banane, Let's get some details straight first, I am trying to understand. - Formated the harddrive. Harddrive on your computer or your NW-HD1? - Your NW-HD1 work before? Before you did what ? - Is there any on your NW-HD1 right now? - Does your SS have a library of files? PS - Nice player, I googled the model.

This topic has been covered more times than I can count. Please remember the SEARCH FUNCTION.

GYM | Network Walkman BROWSER-PLAYER-EXTRACTOR
JSP62 replied to xispe's topic in Grab Your Music (GYM)
Just keep trying it. I don't what your wrong, but something is amiss. erase all files and start all over. I took me a few times before I got it to work. I have no clue what it was I did wrong but I got it to work. My best advise is just make like 15 keys with the wizard and tranfer 1 album. Do a trial and error and if it works, then load it with all your tracks. -
No such thing. **thinknig like a coder** It would be too variable to code. ie, title change vs original...how would one match it. http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?...ion+differences

CONFIRMED. you need track# in your filename to have it ordered correctly.

GYM | Network Walkman BROWSER-PLAYER-EXTRACTOR

It could be worse, NETF 1.1 is pretty quick and easy. -
Does anyone know how the Vaio Pocket organizes the photos ? I don't quite seem to understand how it manages to organize them. I have painstakingly (cause I am an anal fool) renamed all my pics in order to keep things clean, though when I view pics they do not show in alphabetical order. Any insight would greatly be appreciated

I recently deleted my skins folder on my VP. I have the current firmware and I would to ask if anyone can send the skins files that are located in the skin folder. Not that I would use them, cause the default one is probably the best one. I would like to have to complete. Much appreciated

Ah, I see. It is similiar to the Windows Media Center, but Sony's rendition. It looks very nice and sleek. Thanks for the link and info.

GYM | Network Walkman BROWSER-PLAYER-EXTRACTOR
JSP62 replied to xispe's topic in Grab Your Music (GYM)
I don't think you'll find anyone who disagrees with you there. -
Don't get mad, these are just some simple questions, but you wouldn't believe people forget. Did you run the Keywizard? Is your player connected?
-
LOL . They should of just called it Sony Music Transfer and lost the VP....how sloppy. Can't remember, you might not. But why would you not install SS ? You will need it anyways to edit tracks. PS - I love Calvin & Hobbs, I used that nick name when playing games
-
I beleive there are only 2 solutions. 1 - Using the back up tool in SS 2 - Using GYM software
-
Can someone help explain what this Vaio Zone / Media is ? Are these for Sony PCs or is this something I can use on a typical PC and use with my VP ? It's funny I have not heard of any of these topics on this thread before. Thanks
