I agree 1kyle, everyone wants instant everything, too few people have actually heard a good stereo to put basis to what good sound is. As to saying whichever is a good recorder but not player ?????, unless what you "record" instantly goes back to the puter, you still need something to listen on. I still get admiring glances with my NH1, but not too many converts yet. Long live MD Bob

Try cinverting with something other than itunes and see what happens. Also, try putting the CD direct to MD and see what happens, sonds like you have an ID or DRM issue, not the RH1's fault Bob

realplayer had the ability to upload to netmd, but it hasn't got the goods for hi-md. What you will probably find is that if you hook up your 900 to the puter you will be able to listen from the 900 as it is being used as a storage drive. HTH Bob

Hi Chris, grab a CD you are familiar with, record one track with dithering, one track without, see if you can tell the difference. Bob

Just click on his name an any post of his, or in the members area, then select send a message, if you haven't already TTFN Bob

Make sure the disc was recorded SP, not LP2 0r LP4 or Hi-MD. Try recording a track on a blank MD and see if it plays back. Good luck, Bob

Update, storm missed us by 170 miles, and grand by 7- miles, minimum damage, light wind, and almost no rain, will post a few pictures when I get a chance. TTFN Bob

In a few hours the track brought it to within 30 miles, and now about 130 miles, seems to be going more south, good news for us here on Little Cayman, and also good news hopefully for Grand Cayman, although they will be closer to the eye. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers Bob
