  5. The RH1 is what you need (or M200, same unit with mics), you also need to go the mic recording section of the forum. Welcome and have fun, Bob

  10. As would I, Shadowfax is an incredible group, play that one a lot TTFN Bob
  11. best thing about MD, is it doesn't need to prove anything, just listen, I'd like to see you swap songs with a friends Ipod as easily as swapping a disc Bob
  12. watched Davinci Code a couple of days ago, boring, just finished Buena Vista Social Club, brings back great memories of Havana, got to get back there soon, revisit some of the spots in the film, have been in the Egrem recording studio, what a neat place Bob
  13. 4.3 does work, you could also play with compatibility mode and try 3.4 or 4.0 and simple burner. As for doing what 2.o does, the later versions offer better uploading options and more stability
  14. Do yourself a big favor and go to at least version 3.4, I had monumental problems getting 4.3 working on my Vista system, ended up one of my memory cards wasn't fully seated, works pretty well now, but really SS is much better than 2.0 Bob
  15. You can also look at ebay and related sites. There is quite a lot of MD activity out there, don't be afraid to use what you got, and also to get more, this is not a bad addiction' Bob
  16. The original query was that he didn't want gaps between the albums, it is natural on most pop songs to have a gap between songs so you can differentiate between the songs. on album side suites there are also sometimes track spacings, but not gaps again to facilitate song or mood placement. The way I read his query is he didn't want a two or three second gap when going to the next album, the simple burner go around will do that, as well as the track listing in SS, just move everything into one folder. My interpretation only Bob
  17. Not necessarily, if after you record the second album, you manually move the tracks up into the first folder, you end up with a complete folder, you then delete the second empty folder. I t takes about that long, have done it many times Bob
  18. delete what you can manually then go into registry and manually delete sonic ctage references. BTW, why did you continue using 2.0 after all the better versions came out?? Bob
  19. you can also use simple burner and put all the songs in one group, beauty of MD is moving tracks around Bob
  20. definitely consider staying with MD, as TC said the RH1 is great Bob
  21. agreed, and make sure they sent you your original back, sometimes manufacturers replace rather than repair. Bob
