Many answers in the forum, but the easiest with what you have is your line out or headphone out of the MD into the line in of your puter. Of course it will be in realtime, you should probably get Marcs MD Renderer from the download section. Of course the best way is to get an RH1, then you can digitally upload with the USB. Once the files are uploaded you can burn a CD of your tracks. Other option is to buy a dedicated CD recorder and use that Good luck, Bob

Look on ebayexpress under minidisc, several MDLP decks for a pretty fair price, . TTFN Bob

Try something like a best buy or Radio Shack or something like that for portable speakers. Don't know if it would work, but the boombox option for XM or Delphi may work if you can port into them. Good Luck Bob

Have you tried it with different headphones as well. Good luck, Bob

Simple, don't get caught!! Say that the RH1 has morphing capabilities!! Just having fun, Bob

Spend the extra and get the 700 (800), the extra flexibility of mic/line in is well worth having, if you have access to the mixing board, you can plug right in, if stealth or lack of access to mixing board, mics are the answer. Spend as much as you can afford, and let us know what happens. Take care and welcome, Bob

Hi Chris, Sign me up, let me know what I can do Bob

Hi Kay, you can record anything you want, easiest for those would be into the line in, on "scope" you may see differences, but as always let your ears be your guide. Let us know how it turns out. Bob

Try using simple burner, pop a cd in select what you want let the program do it's magic, and Bob's your uncle. TTFN Bob

Hi Sandoz, There is a wealth of information in the forums answering your question, but quickly any Hi-MD deck with a mic input will do what you need. Best of the breed is an RH 1, but an NH-700 will do you as a good starter. Look through the forums a bit to gain more knowledge. Welcome, and enjoy, Bob

What is the fascination with "drag and drop"? in essence that is what you are doing when you select your playlist and let SS do it's stuff. Considering what the units are and what they can do compared to the rest of the competition it's a no brainer to go with MD. Considering the improvements in SS over the last couple of years, and the improvements in the units themselves, asking for fluff is ludicris. Same goes with having an old unit and expecting it to behave like a new unit ( IE using an 800 on a mac) Yu buy something knowing it's limitations, live with it, don't whine. Bob

easiest way is any of the M series or and RH1. None of the other units have Mac support. The other alternative is a windoze emulator such as parallels and installing sonicstage on the windoze portion. Bob
