It's possible the encoder you are using is watermarking the tracks with Digital Rights Management crud. I suggest you transfer the wav files to MD with SS (or use the Nero Imagedrive and Simple Burner trick) before compressing them to MP3. That way you will have your tracks sounding better, and avoid SS stupid restrictions.

I have been watching this other reality show, called "There's a real life out there" and let me assure you it beats any show or game you can think of. Sure, rent, bills and taxes can suck, but actually getting off the couch and walking and talking to people and helping strangers who can't pay you back and slowing down to smell the roses just can't be beat. *Gets ready to be pelted with tomatoes*

Look for the FAQ about exorcising OpenMG (Open.. ha ha! That's a good one, Sony! ) from your PC and then install Sonic Stage.
-
*listens to the sounds* Great. All those millions invested, and the countless man-hours wasted only to find out Titan sounds just like a darned Atari 2600. Sorry. Couldn't help it. Are there any more pictures available? I can only see one.
-
Right. And that is the point of the pointlesness of this system. If I spent 500 dollars on a low-powered Windows-based PC to be used for Web Surfing, Email, light word processing, and such, I'd be labeled an insane man. Sorry, but for me, that just doesn't compute.

And after Skynet, the thousand Borg Clones that Bill Gates has stored under the MS R&D headquarters will come to try and assimilate us. Of course, it's just a matter of installing Sonic Stage on them, and they'll crash, commit fatal exceptions or lock up while trying to verify DRM info on the people they try to assimilate. >_> What? We all know that Bill Gates is a Borg.

I am sure some groups will express their disgust at the theme and what it may imply (ethnicity and such), but the ad ownz. Me likes. We have to stop taking life too seriously.

I wonder what your reaction would be if I announced I plan to purchase that lingerie. For myself. Kidding. I'm not into wearing women's garments. Go for it, Cori. I worked at Frederick's of Hollywood once (CSR and shipping), and believe me when I tell you the picture you posted is pretty conservative compared to what I saw for sale there.

I'm not watching it. I'm not watching it. I'm not watching it. I'm not watching it. I'm not watching it. Reality shows have become the scourge of television. They dilute the quality of the entertainment, and degrade your intelligence. And Simon must not have gotten enough love from his parents when he was a child. Sorry for the rant. You can tell I don't like it.

I'd say about 1000-1200. Not counting home theater and gaming goods.
-
How much for the 900?
-
If this is true, I'll be sold on HI-MD. It's still probable that the rep may have made a mistake, but if she sounded so sure.... I can live with the DRM. As long as they add native MP3 support, and FIX THOSE ANNOYING SONICCRAP BUGS. WMA crappy? I like WMA lossless.
-
Hi-MD renderer will convert to WAV any OMA file that can be played on such computer. SonicStale is the one that trashes uploads.
-
Fine. When I pass you blazingly fast on the information superhighway on my super pimped-out system that I built with those very same 500 dollars, don't say anything.
-
Not faster, but easier and pain free. Provided SS didn't trash your uplooad, you run HIMD Renderer and convert your files from OMA to Wav, MP3, Ogg or any other format supported by it. And then you can do whatever you want with it: Burn it, edit it, copy, trim, mix... or even record it back to MD.

ilife. ipod shuffle. ithink it sux. For that price you could get the very yummy Rio Nitrus, which has 1.5 GB of storage, and doubles as an external HDD. (small, yes, but useful). 512 MB of storage and no LCD? Blasphemy.

"The quality of a media product's content is inversely proportional to the quantity of such content." -Me. I agree with you. I saw the Lion King DVD, and loved the movie (and the digital transfer) itself. But in terms of extras, the Laserdisc deluxe CAV edition Ownz it, big time. I don't care about stupid little interactive games. The documentaries and extras on the other two discs were pure gold, I tell you.

The time you listen to music also counts. Don't fall for the impression you are safer by listening at lower volume for longer. In other words, you can damage your hearing both by listening to lower volume for longer periods, or higher volume for shorter time.
-
I guess this is going to kill MD as we know it. Thank you, Sony.
-
Not to sound like a jerk, but I have to ask, why? There are many applications (even free ones) that will let you burn an audio CD, without having to import or mess with SonicStage.
-
Let's get back to the matter at hand. Try to get Service Pack 2. Reinstall the drivers. If it fails, uninstall SS following the instructions in the NetMD faq. Don't forget to back up your ATRAC files. Good luck.
-
Don't forget to back up your music before hand. SS is still a bit of a pain.
-
This is what you do: Copy from the Keyboard to the HiMD, using line in. I suggest you use PCM or at least HiSP mode if you want quality. ( Or if it has a digital optical out, the better). Upload to your computer. ( Remember that SS is a gamble, so you may want to record using realtime techniques found in other posts in the forum.) Use Marcnet's Hi-MD renderer and redeem that file from the taint of Sony's Draconian Retrograde Method. Burn to CD. Live a healthy and prosperous life. One note, though. If the keyboard saves the file as a midi, or data sequence rather than an actual stream of a popular audio format (WAV, WM, MP3, etc), you CANNOT create an audio CD by copying the data from the zip to your computer.. Why? Because that would be the equivalent of scanning the sheet music from a symphony, burning that image file to CD, and expecting a CD player to play the symphony. Not possible.
-
I hate you for making me feel so inferior with my RGB monitor and 27 Inch Wega. Though in the near future I'll get a simple 30 inch HDTV CRT with DVI so I can play my PC using my new Nvidia card, SPDIF connector and DD amp. (OMG that was a lot of abbreviations. lol)

I remember surviving on Ramen and canned food when saving for my PSX, and my R37.
