  1. Small, but I saved a few pounds by buying these from where i work on weekends (staff discount): A 50 pack of sony cd-r's for £6.33 instead of £14.99
  2. I aggree with this one, although I am pretty sure for the HD5 they would have to bring a firmware update to let it play the new-er bit rates. I would like some new skins for sonic stage or at least a way of having the task pane 'bars' see through so you could have a full screen image as the background. I suppose you would have problems with seeing the menus etc, but im sure they could get around this. As for any bugs? I dont really have any issues with s.s now.
  3. because whenever people dissaggree about anything on a forum you often get people either flaming eachother or just using the ignore feature if it gets too far lol. That and the fact that I am not very good and being tactful when it comes to saying what I think lol. I basicly found those sort of films a bit drawn out and not very stimulating. I wasnt hooked to the extent that I was rooting for anyone or gripped in any way. Some films off the top of my head that i own include: The score Training day Snatch Angelas Ashes fight club the beach a beautiful mind the bone collector trainspotting good will hunting under suspicion As for what you could call 'feel good' or 'soppy' flicks, I have 'Family man' 'high fidelity' I guess I just found the humour in tanenbaums a bit quirky and bland. There is the small factors that I dont really like the actors that were in it, namely owen wilson, ben stiller, luke wilson. Basicly I am not big on actors that are not 'big screen actors', or basicly actors that were in films that were big flops lol. Feel free to discuss, but please dont get too emotional, thanks in advance. How was fantasic four? I read reviews that it was just a film to show how each character came to be, and didnt really have some HUGE saving/plots going on. How did you find it?
  4. ive got a pair of SRS-A205 and for mp3 listening they arent too bad, for what they are and what you're paying obviously.
  5. haha correction to my 2 memory cards, they were 115 pounds, not 85. oh well.
  6. My kosheen cd has the copy control logo but i was still quite easily able to rip it my computer using sonic stage.
  7. i wont be buying but close-up macro shots of the cd player will definetly increase the demand.
  8. Well today i wanted to write a dvd i had ripped to my desktop (as a backup of course), and i then proceded to write it to a verbatim 16x capable dvd+r (4.7 gig), i did a speed measurement first, and it ended up telling me i had to write it at 8x as the highest it reached was 11x read speed. The same was happening when i tried burning a dvd-rom of my 'my documents' folder, it was getting crap read speeds. Next, I updated the firmware, and tried it again, but the read speeds continue to be well below 16x. I then tried writing a 4.7 gig dvd rom from my external Lacie d2 external hard disk, this thing was getting read speeds on average of 22x!! I mean im glad for my Lacie, but what gives with my laptops hard disk??!!
  9. go to the side menu, click view, album, sort by, artists. click the album in the 'my library' window, right click, then 'get cd info'. When you put the cd in the drive, Gracenote should altuomatically get the titles for the tracks. If you didnt get the info when you put the cd in the drive, get it after you;ve ripped the music to your library. Try re-registering with Gracenote if nothing happens when you click 'get cd info'.
  10. lol i would, but i paid 50 pounds for a years subscription, I might as well use it lol
  11. Well, Im feeling quite proud of myself I made myself seafood rice for supper. Yummy
  12. Just ordered 2 kingston 512 ram cards for my laptop. 84 pounds. For 2 gig would have been 220 pounds, but as my cpu is only 2.8 ghz P4 i figured theres no way I;d ever be able to use the full 2 gig without needing more processing power, which i obviously dont have. I mean starting up norton shoots the CPU to 98percent and makes it jump all over the show on windows task manager. Ripping a dvd of mine to my computer chews up all my CPU power.
  13. lol i dunno i see those sort of films a bit banal lol lucky for me i dont need to watch a movie to know if im evil...BWAHAHAHA j/k.
  14. does that take XD cards like other olympus cameras? what specs?
  15. Saw 'Date Movie', from makers of 'not another teen movie', had its funny moments but was still a film to take ya bich to, not really a complete spoof flick, theres still a 'happy ending', because of this 5 out of 10. Don't watch it unless you laugh at stuff very easily. I did find the 'jinx' the cat moment very funny though, as well as adriana lima aka victoria secret -hottest-woman alive, being it made it decent. I did feel the humour lacked the extremness of 'not another teen movie' and 'scary movie' but anyway.
  16. well...as you can see from all those smileys, I got my hifi system back today. The repair man said there was something wrong with a transistor, and so he fixed that, did loads of re-soldering, and so forth, and now its fixed. Im in heaven yeeeeeeeeea at long last, a happy ending.
  17. is there actually a plot/point to i heart huckabees? i mean is it anything like 'the royal tannenbaums'? I thought that film was a complete waste of cinema goers money lol.
  18. 'good fellas', and yesterday, 'the dreamers'.
