I honestly doubt people would use the md feature for recording that much with this thing having a hard disk. If i used it ,it would just be to play music ive already put on md, just to save space on the hdd.

teehee Ive got loads of them. (about 30)I just write what i want in pencil most of the time and just reuse the one i stuck on in the first place. I dont really re-write to a disc that often anyway.

It seems all is not lost I was wearing these out while cycling today, and for some reason they are alot more comfortable. Maybe its just a placebo, but still at least now i can wear them for their sound and not solely for their looks

I bought the album Big game- White Lion. With my own money and the help of 4 free connect downloads I downloaded Nikka Costas Can'tNeverDidNothing Album. Not as good as her album; 'like a feather' though. Speaking of live albums, i was thinking of getting ac/dc's 2 disc live cd set, but I have seen Bon Scotts vocals in music videos, and i wasnt too impressed, no comparison to the albums.

hmm, those look similar to my european edition ones Ive got a few of the european edition ones. On mine which look a bit duller, The outer shell is black and the inner makes the disc look gold-ish.

They might have been at one point, but they are or became, lol the same price as a regular cd.

Do you actually ever listen to any t.v channels?? I know of a few comedies i would listen to but other than that i can see the use of it, cool gimmick though.

dude, its simple. the recording head or optical block on ur unit is gone. Any sony centre will be able to tell you where to get it serviced, although most times its not worth it to replace these things as they can be half the cost of a new unit.

I assume you can view photos using the whole screen>??

Actually it has, but the headband at the top still pushes down too hard, The reason being is that you have to fully pull them open to stop them wanting to spring back to the smallest setting, otherwise when you have them at a height setting that suits you, it will just get uncomfortable. But anyway, they do look the shit, so if i do wear them, it wont be for huge lengths of time.

dude, first choose whether you want the technology at all. Theres no point in getting himd imo if you arent sure whether to get another net md or himd. If it were me, i would get a chunky low end himd, and get a hi end player.

I dont know why, or if it was there before, but when my jb980 is playing discs i can hear the mechanism inside!! This happens at the start of each track. Is this normal? This happens when i am listening to my r909, you know, when the motor spins up, and resumes regular playback?

they;re actually very light, The material is plastic, not metal if thats what you were thinking. As far as comfort goes, i think i will be sticking to my ex81's for home use for rock. I will take these puppies out, they look too good not to, but if they dont get more comfortable, then they will go the same was as my q55's unfortunatly.
