LOL Nismo. Looks like Adrian got you. I saw this thread before and it was spam.
-
I second MinidiscCanada. There is also minidiscaccess.com and bluetin.com. Happy shopping.
-
Told you so - lol. EH1<-->NH3D and NH1<-->N1, body constructionally-speaking. The silver NH3D's charging stand must be the same one that comes with the silver NH1 (since both my charging stands say "xx-NH1" on them, too). Nice pics, bogon, and I agree that the NH3D is relatively difficult to capture in photographs. Your collection of HD digital amped units is looking good.
-
Wow, that's a lot for that non-LCD stick remote. I'd also try eBay for the remote alone (I've seen them before for under $30) or find a unit that comes with that particular remote (because these days you can get a unit+remote for ~US$60). Try the N505 and R701. Good luck!

I almost wonder if the 34LT (Edit: minus Hi-MD function) would work with the NH700/NHF800 as well.
-
You should really post this in the "Classifieds" forum instead of this Hi-MD section.

Sound Professionals is still selling the black RH10 for US$279, including a free microphone.
-
We're not saying to look at US dollars versus British pounds, although 150 is already over US$250 (www.xe.com), but rather to use it as a reference point as to how much your RH10 will go for (the intent of you starting this thread) or where you should set your reserve. Please think outside that British box. If you're looking where to buy the RH1 in the UK, there are already some threads discussing this topic.
-
On the flip side, you will also have the unknowledgable (average) minidisc buyers purchasing things for more than what we (on this forum) would pay, especially if it's in a color they've never seen before. Every Japanese RH10 that I've seen has sold for over US$300 - blue, orange, and now silver. Various factors not only include the condition of the unit, but your eBay feedback and location (shipping can make or break a good deal) as well. In my opinion, what could make your blue RH10 sell for more than US$300 is because Audiocubes (the one e-tailer that actually sold the Japanese RH10 worldwide) no longer has them. Rarity may help you score big, but again depending on what's been mentioned already. Good luck.

It's an interesting story, but yeah, not something I'd watch again. There were some pretty gross parts.
-
Yeah, unfortunately I've only seen the D66SL online so it would be hard for you and your girlfriend to test them out or see their size. Here is a thread from Head-Fi that also lists some (more affordable) circumaural models for the female persuasion. http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=149940 Good luck!
-
Depending on its condition and how close it is to being "like new" and complete, I would expect much more than $250. A Japanese RH10 (silver) recently sold for US$340 + $23 shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-MZ-RH10-Hi-MD-MP3...1QQcmdZViewItem Good luck.
-
One option for you: eBay seller, buyfromjapan, has the black HMD1, brand new in box. US$158.00 + $20 shipping from Japan to North America, Europe, and Australia. This seller has a very good reputation on this forum and T-Board. Good luck!

Sony Hi-MD RH1 (Black) pictorial
jaylen replied to The Low Volta's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
Ishiyoshi's RH1 pictorial has a few shots comparing the RH1 and NH1 (if you haven't seen it already, that is). -
This is what came with my NH3D and what Asia's looking for (bottom, "short" cord): This short cord is available with Japanese versions of the NH1 and DH10P and the Japanese-only NH3D.

The version in Interview with a Vampire has been "Hollywood-ed" unfortunately, so I'm not sure if you'd be able to recognize it right off the bat. Haydn's original is faster and brighter, not so morose - I'm assuming they slowed down the tempo to create a more dramatic effect. I'm not really a classical fan, but I don't mind listening to it. This piece was part of a recital that I heard someone practice over and over and over... lol. I found a midi site for Haydn: http://www.kunstderfuge.com/haydn.htm. If you go about 2 1/2 minutes into the clip, you will recognize it.

Boo. You suck.

Haydn's Piano Sonata #59 in E Flat (2), Adagio E Cantabile - just over 3 minutes into the track.

The Olympic Committee found you guilty of drug and spam doping. So, no. -
Ok, hair-eating PortaPros really scares me now. Yeah, I've pretty much decided against the SR60 - especially now since all of you are saying they leak sound and I don't want to disturb others at school. The clip-ons don't tire out the ear pinnas? I was looking at the KSC75 ($14 on Amazon) once. lol Nice analogy with the Ugly Duckling, but the SR60 is most likely not going to metamorphose into the D66SL or ES7 once it hits headphone puberty a.k.a. burn-in. m15a: Have you seen the Sony MDR-D66SL? Circumaural, neat style, portable and light, good sound (MD users seem to love them), and they cost less than the TriPorts. I'd recommend those as I'm also looking at them very seriously. The ones everyone recommended don't fit that criteria you just mentioned because your initial post's final comment was this: "i'm really curious what the alternatives are for small and very comfortable headphones with pretty good sound.also, i know there are some good general guides for good headphones to get, but i think this question is more specific." So the ones people mentioned fit those criteria instead. Good luck!

Amen, Volta. But, we all know who you are mainly talking to and it's like yelling at a brick wall. Nothing goes through and the same comments will keep popping up on this forum like a broken Milli Vanilli record.

Um, not quite right. Read this thread, starting at post #88. http://www.audiotstation.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=beta%27

Bass? How about these:
-
No clue. But, I have read that replacing its internal battery isn't easy (as compared to say, changing a gumstick or a removeable Li-ion).

Tiesto's DH10P is from the USA so it will only have the long USB cable. Only units from Japan will have both long and short. The NH3D was only available in Japan, so your new silver toy should have both sizes of USB cable. Mine did. Don't forget to post pics.
