Go to the itunes Folder where the Podcast are stored , Control klik , "Open With " Select QT , watch Vid ..........

Well most of the Podcast will play in QT , all the MP3's will , plus any number of other programs , Dont have to get rid of the Library , I kept all of that , Just the Prog and Resources So now I can just take the Podcasts , burn em to DVD and watch em on TV ( BIGGER)

Just got done , Kept all music files , and videos (Podcasts) , did not remove content just prog stuff , .........and gained 1.2 GB of my Drive back

I so very rarely use iTunes , ...... and actually do not like iTues poppig up at times when i klik a link , or that all MP3 files and what ever music file get associated with iTunes , That at the Moment , I am ,...... file by resource file , removing iTunes from my Mac Did you know that in the Resource folder for iTunes alone , there were over 7,500 resource files ( Cotrol klik the iTunes icon in Apps , then select show package contents, and explore) you first have to get rid of plist , and info files , version , etc , then start on the resource files , then lastly the app itself from the MacOS folder inside Package Contents , otherwise it doesnt wish to leave . after all that is done , then the app itself from APPlications can go . What do I listen to Music on ..........Md , What do I listen to Radio on ,......... A Radio , Internet Radio .......I have four different Radio progs 35,000 stations , and Multiple formats What do I use for Burning a CD,DVD, Divx , ....... ( so appropriately named ) " Burn" for mac ,........ for Ripping I can use Max or Burn So what do I need iTunes for ??????? Taking up a huge amount of drive space

Well the NH1 will never do what the RH1 does , It is a limited directional street with that machine . But the NH1 will always be a good standby player / recorder that doesnt need to upload , I practically never upload anything unless it is specific to a purpose . My discs , stay discs ,............ Plus there is always Real time input to fix a not so good recording , by using an effects processor such as a Compressor /Limiter for peak control , then in the computer you can raise the rec levels of the software , and get a " Hotter " Recording (Statement corrected)

Ok it does have a Battery powering memory systems , That battery would be needed for maintaining all factory settings , or any other function tracking aspects of the circuit If you can get the battery out , take it to Batteries Plus , or a Battery specialty store , and see if there is an equivalent , it is mainly the voltage and current draw , that is needed If it is soldered to the board , and you know how to use s soldering iron , heat the contacts on the board not the battery , to loosen it ( use some desoldering copper wick to get the solder off )

How is the Mic input , on the DR1 Mic in , is several dB lower than the internal mics , Really annoying. I showed a Tascam rep with my preamps that there was at least a 20 db difference between the level of the internal mics , and the AT-822 #1 At-822 direct , and internal mic A/B #2 At-822 thru my preamps into Mic 1 input , and Internal mics A/B I have an idea of how to fix it but I need a schematic to find the two resistors that feed from the mic inputs Impedance is wrong , and replacing or Paralleling the resistors , to change the input impedance would fix the problem .

I wonder if there is a CR2032 battery on the circuit board powering the memory , old battery memory loss , screwed up function . That would be an easy fix , but I am not familiar with that deck , just with principals of electronics.

iTunes will work if the files are store as an album , and then in preferences " Gapless album" is checked But I dont really like iTunes CD , I use BURN for Mac , and the CD's actually sound better Yes I am on a Mac ,..............and DONT use iTunes ( except for Podcasts and radio)
