I noticed on the Sharp that I had , the Mic input was extremely noisy when compared to my 7 sony MD's and 1 very old Kenwood I was using an AT 822 , and a Sony ECM 959a for checking , The AT 822 is my Fav tho just a beautifull mic

Import the Files into Audacity , the save and export as Standard wave at 16 bit 44.1 then go thru SS to your disc( OF Course the Audacity file will be HUGE)

" might wanna fix that On the site the Tech spechs state 155 ma out on the Panel end so to get a full charge via sun 2000 / 155 plus 5% gives you charge time in hours ( the 5% is top off) ,that is 14 hours or so The panels I build are 800 ma out max ( full sun) but it is just getting the USB part fixed , same example 2 Amphr battery 2000/ 800 plus 5% 3 hours your charged , on the RH1 it would be the same as being plugged in 60 minutes. When I get this thing fixed I will post full diagrams so you guys can build your own .

Yeah , even in Japan , the Original is 54 dollars , what is with that ??????? And there are no seperate chargers for the dang thing .????? This is one of the main contributing factors to everyone serching for external Battery options . My MZB10 is the only one I dont need that for , it runs on AA's and good life , I just wish it had rec level control .

If you read my post you would see that I suggested first ,to go to a freind who HAS a Mac ............... My suggestion of BEING ON A MAC is that I do NOT have any troubles with the rH1 or SS encryption , because it come in as wav files . 440 .......I think your a little flat , calibrate your tuner

Go to a freind who has a Macintosh , Download MD Transfer 2.0 on their Mac , Connect to MD to their Mac and see if you can get it off of there. It also could be the version of SS that you have running has a bug in it , SS is notorious for that . On the Mac as long as you have formatted and recorded in HiMD mode , what you have recorded should upload , and they will load as Wav files so you wont have any conversion to do , and you will be able to import directly to an Audio Editor . Signed an EX windows guy , Windows Repair certified , and .......I own a Mac.

So what you need to do is Take apart the Battery box , and drop the 20k on to pins 2,3 inside the box then you dont have the mess outside. I have several little boxes , that use 2 AA , has a voltage amplifier brings it up to a stable 5.09 volts , but with only 2 aa's I max out at 7 hours running off the box . but that leaves power in the internal Batt. On Gomadics site they say ,"Backed by Gomadic's lifetime warranty. The ONLY product that will work with alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Provides enough power to recharge devices 2-3 times from discharged state" The ONLY product .........That is BS , I have three others here that work with Recharge. In fact the Targus Recharges the AAA 'S in it from a USB port on the computer or adapter , Has a LED light built in , Three position switch On, Use, Charge. The default Rec position is From the end on the RH1 , it doesnt matter where you at on the disc , if you hit Record it goes to the end , You dont have to FFw ,

Along with the HMA files , when you were in the MD folders , there were system files that contained the info on the HMA files , when you formatted the disc you erased the system files along with the Tags for the HMA files , There isnt a way to duplicate that . Rule #1 : Never Mess with a file who's extension you do not know and understand exactly what it is for and what it does . The rule applies to ALL computer related stuff and is stated in every computer seminar you might take ( although it's position in the rules might be different depending on the instructor) To mess with files you dont know , is like walking into an East St Louis neighbourhood late at at night , and you dont know anybody .............. your asking for it.
